This is my first highly anticipated wargame from Matrix. I'm a European WWII war buff, so I've waited patiently past Korsun Pocket and HTTR for this game. So can you please hurry it up? ;) And I hope you are going to Africa next, that is my 2nd favorite area of WWII. Sorry, I'm not a russian front fan and wouldn't enjoy playing either the russians or the germans. I must crush the Axis with the superpowerful Americans and Patton. ;)

How come you passed Korsun Pocket and HTTR?

Both are european WW2 games?

HTTR is the Western Front just like BIN.

There can't be a Second Front if the First (Russian) Front collapses! Perhaps I could say that BIN is being delayed because not enough people have done their patriotic duty and fought the Axis by purchasing and playing Korsun Pocket and Across the Dnepr. That statement would be a total lie of course, so I'd have to be wearing my Marketing Manager hat when I said it, to make it OK!

So we're doing our best to get BIN out as soon as possible. Perhaps you could consider playing Korsun Pocket as training. That way you'll be better prepared for final victory.

Ravinhood,

In case you missed it the Ardennes Offensive is beautifully done and available in KP. This gives you almost all of Third US Army to fight the Battle of the Bulge.

It also would jump start you toward fully enjoying BiN If you understand the basic concepts for playing KP you can start right away playing BiN all out!

Yah I should have said early WESTERN European front WWII fan. I cut my teeth on D-DAY, Battle of the Bulge and Africa Korp and have always been influenced by those games. Although I did have Stalingrad, I just never liked it. I don't know why I have no interest in HTTR, I think cause it was a bad day for the Brits, that bridge too far thing. And Korsun Pocket is Russians vs the Germans right? Eastern front? Never liked the eastern front.

I am a big fan of the Pacific War though, and will probably buy War in the Pacific by Grigsby. I love killin japs, reminds me of that movie GUNG HO, lol, where that guy comes in and they ask him why he wants to be a ranger and he says "I just wanna kill japs" lol that was me all over. Now I don't mean Japanese as far as today goes, I love Japanese and Chinese and just about any oriental "women"! hehe But, really I have no animosity towards Japanese today, I just sort of fall into a roleplay during WWII games I do play and that's just how I feel and play. GUNG HO!

See I never knew this, I would or will buy KORSUN POCKET for the Battle of the Bulge scenario.

Thanks for the info.

I kept seeing Korsun Pocket on the shelves, but, always bypassed it because was told it was some eastern front encounter. Sorry I just can't get into the eastern front, probably because my brother bounced me off the concrete too much in my youth, and probably because all he ever wanted to play were Western Front games. lol

Read a good book like Stalingrad by Anthony Beavor and if that doesnt get you into the eastern front nothing will.

It did it for me.

Ravinhood, I don't want to deprive Matrix of a sale, but someone should also mention that the "Bulge" scenario -- TAO 4 -- will also be included with BiN. IOW, if you plan to buy BiN, you'd be getting TAO twice when you only need one. Just thought you should know the truth of matters before you buy something you might see as regrettable later.

I'm sure not everyone here knows TAO 4 will ship w/ BiN. Which IS a good thing IMO.
