Lagavulin is OK, not as peaty as Laphroaig, but still, may be drunk if the real thing is not available.

Yeah, can you imagine waiting so impatiently for a computer version of Tactics II?

That brings back memories... I know this is off topic (but we're all going so nuts with the wait, so is just about everything else being posted) but Tactics II was one of my first wargames. It was the summer of '70 and I had my first 'real' summer job. I spent a goodly amount of what I made that summer (after a LOT of argument with my parents) on Avalon Hill games. I ordered several of them at once, and I still remember the thrill when they finally arrived. It was better than Christmas! And here I am at age 47 (gawd, where HAVE the years gone?!?) feeling just like that 13 year old kid again waiting for his games.

Have a couple of years on you, but I was fortunate to have a dad who introduced me to wargaming, and I in turn, indoctrinated my own son into this arcane art.

Actually did some Friday night playtesting for SPI back in the early 70s...worked on Outdoor Survival France 40 and Origins of WWII (all Dunnigan titles published by AH),

Prefer Highland Park or Glenmorangie

If it is not out by tomorrow at 300 PM then there is no way for me to get it before tuesday.
I'm going off to Santa Fe with the missus.

Me too - except we'll be in San Diego - and have permission to visit the Midway too!

Oh boy does this bring back some fond memories from maybe 73-74....my g/f of the day and I used to play strip Outdoor Survival. Can't really remember the rules mods we made up, but I have to say (no offense intended) that the game was much better that way. Thanks for the memories!
