Cool, I'll take a battalion or two of M1917's and give them japs hell til you fellas can drag them big ol' cannons half way around the world.

Luckily I got one in the back yard to get us started.

Your neighbours must love you! Don't hang out the laundry to dry though. There was this officer I served with, Capt. Fraser...bit of a psycho moron (ate spaghetti with a bayonet...you know the type!),but he owned a farm near Kenora, Ontario and had quite a collection of WW2 vehicles, many running. Has a Bren Carrier for a hay bailer, a Kangaroo for a GP farm tractor etc. Like I said...bit of a gung ho weirdo that might blow a la "Falling Down" anytime.

Then, there must have been more HMS London Link: WW2 Cruiser Operations (Ships - Cruisers - Allies - RN - Cal-Ar - London - London (C69)) (note: many great pics for Bradys use here )

Oh, now I found 'yours': Link: HMS London (Bulkward Class BB) (check at the bottom) well, well, 3x6" might still scare some innocent chickens. Seems it got scrapped 1920, though...

Now, while searching on... Link: HMS London - I would like to be the version with 96 guns

Anyway, HMS London is fine with me...

Not on your list, bur she could have been there...the inevitable Warspite.

But if she ever gets added to your mod:

You've already got a Henderson, so how about

Roskill, SW - L70 I 70

He wrote a great book on her that I read when I was a kid...been my favourite ship ever since.

My grandfather was in the merchant marines before and during ww2. a nice american ak with "J.B. Starr" in command would be nice. Of course ak commanders have relatively low skill, but that's okay, I'm sure he would settle for low ratings considering he's being promoted to the bridge.

Hi Tankerace.

If there are any Royal Navy posts left, can I get a capital ship or cruiser. Stuart, G.P. HMS Anything L 60 I 50.

For extra kicks, if possible can you give my PBEm opponent a shout in the old RN as well. He's only a lurker around here, name of:

Bell, G. HMS Anything L 55 I 55.

Cheers!

Will there be any Canadians? DD Patriot or DD Patrician, CL Aurora ( assume she wasn't paid off given the 'threat', same for submarines CH14 and CH15) available early 20's.

A what if is refitting the worn out WW1 era CL Rainbow. (CA Niobe was too damaged by the Halifax explosion, but again you could what if)

In 1928, Patriot and Patrician were paid off and replaced by Champlain and Vancouver ( ex HMS Torbay and Toreador). HMCS Saguenay and HMCS Skeena were added in 1931.

1937 DDs Fraser and St. Laurent ( RN "C" class)

1938 Ottawa and Restigouche, plus 4 MS ( Fundy, Gaspe, Comox, Nootka)

You can assume some, none or all would 'swing' to the Pacific.

I'd love to have a ship named for my grandfather actually.

His name is John H. Merkamp and should probably not be above the rank of commander (he was a youngish man). I'd suggest Leadership: 53, Inspiration: 62. Please some sort of US combat ship, even of gunboat size.

Cheers,
Rob
