First, this should be put in the perspective, this is a beta-test PBEM game with 2 players controling 3 nations with 4 inactive nations. We didn't put AI in charge of them since we wanted a quick slugfest between France and Austro-Prussian alliance. This was never ment to go the distance and/or played to win. The most important thing was to see how PBEM procedure works in the latest build.

Lausitz has Prussian territory to the west, north and east and Austria is to the south so it's 2$ and 1MP will probably be well protected once the war starts, and they will be put to good use in the Economic phase.

In general having minors under your control can work in two ways, if the war is long then they are in danger of being lost to the enemy, if the war is quickly decided then they prove valuable in case you loose the big battle and have to surrender. France is usually impossible to be beaten in battle under Napoleon by the combined Austro-Prussian army of the first war. So why don't take as much minors as you can so France needs to disperse it's corps to try and take them away from you. If both Prussia and Austria do just that France will disperse too much or you will get to keep some of them after surrender.

Now I just hope rhodopsine will have enough free time so we can continue this test game.

If Rhodospine doesn't have enough time, I would be happy to take his place as a Beta Tester!!!!

Judging by your smilies I think your post was in good humor.

I wasn't clear enough when I said he doesn't have free time. should have said enough extra free time. We are all currently spending alot of time on AI games hunting them nasty bugs. Past few weeks were very busy in development and I think he even spent more time then me testing new versions.

It is still very tough saying anything on the open forum because all that is written can be missinterpreted. Damn

I am glad you took it the way it was intended.

I am sure we will all appreciate the hard work you guys are doing once we get our hands on this game.

How come Lausitz (Lusatia in English) is a minor? In real life it had been part of Saxony since 1623, and was certainly part of Saxony in 1805. It's part of Saxony in the board game. (Unless I'm totally confused) Is it an EiH addition?

Yes, the map is the one used in EiH, not the original's boardgame.
