I havn't played the HPS Waterloo, but I've just got a couple of the Civil War titles which are very good, if a trifle lacking on the AI front (hoping I get the time for some PBEM, sometime). The Breakaway games, Waterloo and Austerlitz, are fun. They are real-time, but not to be confused with "RTS" games (Cossacks, etc). They are a development of the Sid Meier "Gettysburg" engine. A good change of pace from an HPS title, too. I havn't played Imperial Glory (which looks like a Napoleonic copy of the "Total War" games), but several here seem to be very impressed with it. And the Matrix published Frank Hunter's "Campaigns on the Danube" is worth a try too if you prefer operational level games; a nice design that plays quickly too, so you can actually finish a game in an evening.
