OK, so this subject isn't new. But as far as I can tell I've obeyed all the rules. I have a sqdn of Marauders that was regularly bombing the Jap a/f at Lae. But now they won't fly, sorry exagerration; on a couple of turns one sole, lonely a/c has set off for Lae on its own. Now, the sqdn has no fatigue, high morale, 78 ave exp. The home base, PM, has a size 5 a/f plenty of support and 35K supplies and has fighters set to escort but the lazy so-and-so's don't want to fly anymore. Any ideas? I am going to retire the sqdn to Oz for some r and r and send a fresh sqdn to PM so hopefully the new arrivals will decide to fly but apart from shipping in an Air Force HQ there's not much more I can do. btw other sqdns on alternate missions naval/ground/port bombing to Buna and the Coral Sea are all flying OK and in good numbers. So, am I missing something here that may explain the Marauder crews reluctance to fly? Thanks in advance. Fred
