opps sorry old bean, I have been caught using the modern vernacular, instead of "Brits and Commonwealth" I should have said something like individuals and units from the British Empire and its Dominians, Colonies, and Protectorates. After googling for a while I was unable to find a detailed list of the countries who were Empire members in 1914 but instead I did find an interesting list of Empire & Commonwealth members past and present, with dates and other details.
