The Spanish Civil War is one of the most important, yet often forgotten, conflicts of the 20^th century. When the Republicans and the Nationalists started the conflict in 1936 Europe was on the verge of collapsing into the worst war it had ever faced. Throughout the three years of hostilities the Iberian peninsula lived through a time of political and social turmoil. 

Developed by Ageod (www.ageod.co.uk) España 1936 features the well-know AGE game engine with a turn-based WEGO system, and covers the entire Spanish Civil War from 1936-1939. The player will find more than 200 regions complete with cities, roads, weapons factories, weather types, factions and sub-factions. The game includes a tutorial, a Grand Campaign covering the whole conflict plus the Fall of the North scenario, a host of historical leaders, units and events.
