This is yet just one of panthers great games and with Conquest and Battles of the bulge you get probably the best wargames ever created, I love Gary Grigsby's war in the east also. Thats another great one. But in many aspects of real wargaming and turn vs pauseable, Conquest is a hugely advanced game, The Ai will pound you and find weaknesses. Best AI of any wargame! I bought both conquest and Battles from the bulge. and let me tell you they really worked hard on them both. Awesome tutorial and advanced manuals, lead you right through to really grasping the game. And they are big games too with lots of information. Great command structure and historical units present. You have to plan the battle in depth, resupply, movement, objectives and orders and LOS are all needed to even start your first moves. Has excellent LOS and terrain exploits. fatigue and support was spot on attacking Yef Alamnas bridge. Everything was thought of. Attacking bridges is just plain fun and the battles for crete are historical and almost perfect in a game that should be played by serious wargamers. I only wish there had been a good music soudtrack, But most wargamers probably could do without music. Sounds are good when in play. A great wargame with Bulge. Get your money's worth for a long time of playing. Easy scenario creator too. With a manual that rivals most other games.
