Is there any place (or from any one) I can get instructions on creating the ballparks for use within the game (the .prk files)?

I just bought this game yesterday, and am enjoying tinkering with it. I have a great collection of ballpark photos that I would love to convert them for use with PureSim.

Thanks in Advance,
Jon

It's pretty easy really...

- Format the picture you want to use as a 1024x768 jpg file. For best results, make sure there is at least an inch or two of space at the bottom of the photo below home plate for the PBP txt to be displayed. If there isn't, you may need to "tinker" with the photo in an editing program to make it work.

- In PureSim, go the Front Office for a team and select Ballpark. From there, you can assign the attributes of the ballpark, rename it, and select the photo to be used.

- The final step is to configure the PSPNcast screen, which involves moving the players, baserunners and ball flight locations to the spots that suit you.

- Finally, save the park and you are ready to share it with the rest of us!!!

I'd be happy to host any parks you design at my website.

Al,

Thanks for the info.  I'm heading off to work now, so I'll try and mess with things tomorrow.  If I run into any problems, can I email you?

I'd be happy to send you any parks I end up creating.  Thanks for the offer to host.

Regards,
Jon

By the way, do you have a good photo of Fenway that could be used.  That's one of the ballparks I could use help with...

Hmm... That's not too bad... Thanks!!!  I'm gonna use it!  It's crazy how hard it is to find a good photo of Fenway...  While were on the subject, let me know if you have any good photos of the following:

- Tropicana Field
- Skydome
- RFK

Thanks!

Those pics are beautiful. Thanks for sharing them.   Jeez, I wish some photos like this existed for the classic parks that were constructed between 1909-23.
