I suspect that there is a bug in the way altitude is handled. When not using 1000 feet increment but 100's. Taken form a few mails. Hi Mich, I suspect a bug, but its pure speculative. That the 27100 is for bombing purposes seen as 100 instead of 27100. Would be interesting to see what hit rates u would get at different altitudes. Why if its possible u use ur just before end, save game. Change the altitude over a few test. Send it to me. I just press end turn right away. Send it back to u. U can replay it. i dont even hafta see the result. U can note the hit rates at different altitudes. Responce from opponent. Interesting. It appears that you are correct, it does seem to have resolved the attack at 100 ft. Seems I missed a commander roll this time as the strike package is half the original, but... Here is the replay from the 6000 ft attack: Frankly, knowing this really would change nothing in this game. Instead of 27k my attack would have come in at 100' instead and the results achieved would be exactly the same. As you can see from my losses in the 6000 ft attack my losses are considerably less than my losses in the game meaning your AA fire was at 100 ft also (instead of losing 25 kates in the original I lost 1 in the 6000ft). So net result is the same. But I did change my altitudes for tomorrows raids.
