Status: offline 		Chang Ki-nik announced today the opening of a major Chinese offensive to liberate the city of Nanning, signifigant progress having been made over the last two days. While casualties were heavy Japanese forces are slowly being driven from one denfensive line to the next, their overall position compressing into the inner suburbs of the city itself. Allied bomber craft continue support operations in this endevor.

In other news....Pearl Harbor based DD's commence operation "Clean sweep". Like a broom, enemy I-boots are being swept up and put in the trash bin.

Douglas MacArthur was interviewed today and was reported to say that he expects to be in Rabaul by the end of the year.....provided the US navy doesn't screw up again and lose all of it's major ships.

Status: offline 		-Chinese troops suffered another crushing defeat, while Japanese soldiers were able to advance to a forward defensive line and rebuild some fortifications. The shock suffered by the enemy was such that offensive operations seem to have been postponed. On the other side, another submarine was lost close to Pearl Harbour, this time evidence points to an attack by enemy destroyers. These bad news were, to some extent, mitigated by confirmation of sinking of US submarine Tuna, which was reportedly hit by depth charges a few days ago.

Status: offline 		-A good turn for Japan. The last troops in Pakhoi died in a Banzai charge. No prisioneers were taken. Their sacrifice allowed for the evacuation of an entire Base Force unit. No units were lost in the Nanning/Pakhoi campaign despite some heavy losses. Meanwhile, the Chinese air force was badly hurt by AA fire in an unfortunate attack on Canton, and Nells sank two transports in Burma, while Oscars fought the inferior Western aircraft with good results (3:2 losses favoring the Japanese fighters). Overall losses for the day are 10 for Japan and 20 for allies.

Minor setback over Canton........just need to bomb a little higher....after the damn planes repair. lot of holes in the survivors

Status: offline 		-Rabaul was visited by a few B-17´s in the last two days. Two B-17´s shot down by Zeroes and more two by AA fire. More than 20% of the big bombers failed to return. In Burma, Nells finished a damaged transport, but two of the exorting Oscars were lost to P-40´s. Pakhoi suffered some naval bombardment

A: You can't PM is impregnigble. General Nik says so.

A: You should try. send more Battleships. we need the target practice

Status: offline 		In a press release today, the Imperial HQ speaker confirmed the capture and execution of an US spy, which was trying to get information on the secret Japanese HQ meeting. "Fortunately, he commited serious translation mistakes and passed no valuable info to the enemy", said the speaker. Meanwhile, the Japanese HQ realized how to answer topic 2, as enemy two engined bombers, identified as B-25´s, attacked Mandalay. The IJA Ki-43´s damaged more than half of the enemy planes, and the remains of two of them were located near the airbase, however, the plane seems to be able to absord a incredible amount of damage. This event have resulted in orders to speed up the production of the new Ki-44 interceptor, whose 50 first units are scheduled to be combat ready this month. The enemy attack destroyed 7 planes in the ground, including 5 Ki-43, but no pilot was lost. The IJAAF expects to produce 3500 Ki-44´s in the next 24 months.

Status: offline 		-Yamamoto presented as evidence of Nik´s allied fanboysm the fact the Judy will be forced to fly her missions with only one 250kg bomb, despite the fact the plane will be able to carry two bombs, it seems pretty obvious that this mod is deeply pro allied, said the admiral. Nagumo replied that it would be better to have a smaller bombload, with armor and self sealing fuel tanks, he became furious when he was informed that the D4Y won´t have neither the increased payload nor the better protection. How will we be able to win the Marianas Turkey shot with such a crappy plane-he asked.
