And he was also too cowardly to own up to being a Nazi. He believes the Jews started WWI, and he believes the "Stab in the Back" myth. Two firm pillars of Nazi ideology. That, along with the aforementioned cowardice, is three strikes and you're out, Adolf.

And just plain too stupid to realize how wrong and offensive he is.

Oh, I disagree on that.

Even allowing for the fact that everyone else is a moron, his post was pretty special.

I know that British English and it's Americanized cousin have some differences , but when did "special"come to = sickening?

YEAH! Now yer percolatin' with swamp water, Steve. I think I heard the "death by ru-ru" joke as "death by bonga-bonga." Same effect. Great syntactical manipulation in the name of humor.

And hey - my doctor told me I should limit myself to only Tehran wine. I asked him what that was. He said, "We wanna have nuclear weapons, too...."

Frog legs, not so much....too much like cannibalism.

Is that because of your French roots or because you feel some strange kinship with the order Anura?

Guess!

Ummm....let me see. You grew up in Maine, where there are a lot of frogs. Then you joined the navy. Its possible that sometime during your travels you were in Costa Rica, where you had contact with a poisonous frog. The poison caused a strange mutation in your frontal lobe, causing the subject, during some episodes involving consumption of French food, to think that he is a frog.

Uuuugh.....I think I've been watching too much CSI.

Naw. I refuse to permit the end of the world to rely on the vagaries of overstroked celebrity egos. Sure, I've heard of the twit, but to submit your actress' credentials by "starring" in a Herbie movie? Please.

By the way, if she prevails, I'm patenting the names Mike, Steve, Simon, Yuri and Kristian. I ought to pull in a cool Million annually by taxing you spambots.

No you don't! My lawyer can beat your lawyer! And better yet , mine works for free!

What makes you think she would do pro bono work for you?

Simply that since we've been married I've done the cleaning, laundry, shopping and cooking 5 out of 7 days a week (in addition to working). She can do the pro-bono legal work once every ten years or so , or she can take over her share of the household drudgery. Which would you pick?

Next question. What makes you think she knows anything about contract or copyright law?

You didn't seriously need to do so, did you? Wasn't one look at the idiotic title enough?

In his defense, it did start off as an interesting discussion. Whose fault is it that its impossible to have a serious, academic discussion on any topic more involved than beer for fear that it will attract the sewer dwellers?

Yeah , how dare we try and have a intelligent conversation? He's obviously a %$#*&^% Victim of society!

I'm shocked that anyone post 1945 is stupid enough to think of the "stab in the back" as anything other than what it was. Hell, some of the alien conspiracy theories are better grounded than that.

Ignorant Yuri , the word is IGNORANT! And lots of people are , some by their own choice! Even some societies! (You know who you are---Mr. I'm-a-dinner-jacket!). OK, That' my political rant. Time to go back to the "home" and take my meds.

Steve appears to have been using the two words in tandem, suggesting that there are those who are consciously ignorant and intentionally stupid, a proposition with which I agree foolhardily - I mean, wholeheartedly.

And don't forget to swing by our most excellent and informative AAR before returning to the real world.

Don't be too hard on yourself, mate. I mean, you're doing an AAR with Captain Mandrake, man. What'd you expect? Detailed machinations on Allied grand strategy? I'm enjoying the AAR for the tongue in cheek romp it is. I might even be learning some Jackspeak-although I steadfastly refuse to ever use it.

Try Boddingtons. Some of the bigger alcohol stores carry London Pride too. Or Spitfire.

After that, I have to have at least one pint of Spitfire before I check out.

Never seen any of those. There is a liquor store that carries my favorite beer (Optimator) by my friend's house. But its a pain to get there. I'll take a look next time I'm there.

Brother Mynok introduced me to Chimay, from Belgium, at one of our summits. I found some this past weekend at A Southern Season. Soooooo smooth!
