OK, so.....silly question. What is the difference between a Cargo TF and a Transport TF?

Cargo is for cargo: fuel, supply, oil, resources.

Transport is designed to move troops efficiently by sea. They have to be in Strat Move mode.

Is there any sort of loading advantage if you transport say resources in cargo as opposed to transport?

I don't believe you can load resources into a transport TF. Just troops and supplies. And there are quite a few efficiency advantages to using transport TF over amphibious TF. See the manual section on TF Loading.

Try to protect the APs that upgrade to APAs in '43. Well worth the wait.

Counterfeit Agent (1975 US and UK 1978) by Douglas Marland

It started with AXE using doubles for the Secretary of State. Doubles meant to keep the real Secretary alive in the face of an assassination plot. But now the enemy is turning out their own counterfeit doubles of agents planted to undermine all the governments of the world. It was one thing to be shot at in the shower with a weird gun that swells up like a bullfrog when it is fired. But it is another thing to have all the information in your brain stolen for your double.

Evenin' all, another glorious day in the (former) Corps!  Every paycheck already spent, every meal cold

Find out tomorrow how far off the mark rumour control was with regards to SDSR, will we have an RAF next year?  Will I have a job next year?  Will the Carbon-Fibre death providers be binned?  All these questions and more will probably remain unanswered...  Nothing like massive budget cuts and a young family to concentrate the mind

The Ultimate Code (1975, 1979 US and 1978 UK) by William Odell

It was a case of mistaken identities. Nick Carter demoted? Losing the top secret equipment he was assigned to bring to Greece. Taking orders from a middle ranking CIA operative? Nick was borrowed by the National Security Agency to transport classified coding equipment to Athens. He finds himself the square peg in the round hole in a secret command group operation gone wrong with the Greek army, the Russians and a traitor on their heels.

Poll: Which cover do you prefer?

What? The Vikings won.

How was the tailgating?

Not bad. A subdued and rather corporate affair, but something I didn't feel bad bringing my 78 YO dad to.

I hear ya, mate. Sorry you're going through this. What are the civilian options for a man in your position / background? BA groundcrew?

Katmandu Contract (US 1975 UK 1977 and Hardcover 1978) by James Fritzhand

The fate of Asia depends on a billion dollars in diamonds delivered to a vicious killer high
in the Himalayas. But how do you smuggle the diamonds from Amsterdam to Nepal, use them to
payoff a kidnap demand, steal them back, then smuggle them out again?

1. After you buy the diamonds, make sure you roll out of the way when a killer pushes you
in front of a moving train.
2. Take the diamonds out the hotel safe before it blows up.
3. Hide the stones on your person in a spot where the surprisingly thorough Dutch customs
officer will not find them.
4. Keep them with you at all times, even when the cab you are riding in to the airport suddenly
takes a detour into a canal.

Trivia: This title is one of only two that were published as a hardcover edition, the other being Sign of The Cobra.
