30 Commando - Notable commanders Lieutenant Commander Quintin Theodore Petroe Molesworth Riley

I wonder if he was related to Nigel Molesworth?

And where does Ian Fleming come into it?

Hi all,

Typically, VASSAL and other online tools keep track of the map and all the counters.  You still need to have any documentation like rules, scenario info, etc.

I know and understand... but having nice map laid down with all those counters on it is just a thing of beauty... don't you all think?

I agree, however, I have 2 dogs and 3 cats currently, Leo.

Thanks for asking Jeff. I've had some really good interviews recently, and several additional good leads. I'm hoping for at least one job offer very soon.

I'll take a look at the conversion answer, thanks!

Once upon a time, when our realtor was over for a nice long chat, Mk. 1 daughter unit rummaged through her purse unseen. She emerged with a greenback with George Washington's face on it. Our realtor was a good sport about it and let us keep the dollar bill for our scrap book. We've proudly kept it as a keepsake for "Baby's first petty larceny."

Sad...

BTW, there are just 4 Eurofighters in the Falklands... if Argentinians would like to try something now the UK is unable to do anything about it (i.e. no more RN fleet like it was in the 1982)...

Leo "Apollo11"

Just what can Argentina actually do though? The UK might only have 4 Eurofighters out there but they're a damn sight better than anything else in that region. Plus the Falklands garrison is larger and better equipped and prepared than in 1982.

The Argentine navy and air force are not in any great shape really.

Argentina has elections coming up in October and I guess Kirchner is trying to divert attention away from the dire economic straits the place is in. Plus the US signed up to the OAS demand that the UK open negotiations which has only encouraged them. . I don't think Obama likes us very much either...

If it's any consolation, we don't like him much either.

My boat was used for torpedo testing and then became a reef off the Delaware coast.  Much, much better fate than being turned into razor blades.

I know someone (or it might be eight someones) who might be interested in his proposal. Japan is sure to have a personality that will take him up on the offer, with the added advantage that they all use the same e-mail address

Nasty nasty storm last night in Kansas. In Pratt we had 60 mph wind, hail, and rain. My office, 30 miles west, it was 90 mph!! We had to chase fertilizer tanks all over town this morning that blew away from our lot. A lot of customers lost fields to hail and greensnap.

In this picture, the tank blew in the "Barbeque Man's" house, taking out some pilars in the front. Do you think our rates will go up 35% now?

Springer Spaniel is a nice dog. It's in the "real" dog range of 40-50 pounds. Bigger than a yapper, but can still fit in your lap. Has a personality that will turn any heart; even yours Jeff. When she's happy the dog is happy, and when the dog is happy you are happy, and when you are happy, she is happy. Aristotlean logic in action.

I am a member of ESRA (Springer Rescue) and we got some utter gloss sweetness, that are utterly beautiful, looking for forever homes. Doesn't have to be a Springer, rescue people talk to ech other, so if she's got something else in mind, perhaps we can help.

Bottom line, having a dog tends to make us more ... human.

Anything I can do to help, please do not hesitate to shout.

Argentina needs to do nothing. The Falklands will be in Argentine hands soon enough. For some reason, the US government wants it that way, so no doubt our snivelling politicians (whichever party is in power at the time) will bend over, whilst simultaneously p***** all over the memories of the brave soldiers, sailors, airmen and indeed civilians that gave their lives to win the islands back in 1982.

A most Shameful piece of "diplomacy"

I enjoy the dog we have, but she is outside..  She hunts with me, fishes with me, and all of the other cool things we do.  The cats, my little boy, the wife, and I are meant to be in our house at this time. It just seems like anytime I am at a house with a dog, it smells, and the dog is annoying as all get out.

Negotiate? Either ****-off or get bent Argentina Bottom line is that the islands are British, and have been from before Argentina was even a country, and the inhabitants want to remain so. I want lay claim to downtown Buenos Aires, doesn't mean it is mine.
