Too bad, you're in the perfect place to study the end product of hog farming!

Mmmmm....bacon......gahrlll...(drools)

Bah! I was thinking Carolina BBQ... heaven on a bun!

This would also seem to support Belinda Carlisle's theory that heaven is a place on earth.....

Plan of the Day:

Eat wife's chile

Too bad it was ruined by somebody flipping the bird at the camera. Oh, The Humanity! Won't Somebody Think Of The Children!

Eh? I didn't notice that. In any case, who cares?

It was one of the people on stage with Madonna. And PA-LENTY of people seem to care. The same way with Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction several years ago. Nobody saw anything until the next day when it was shown 17,000 times on the news, but OMG, TEH HORROR!

The only Super Bowl I didn't watch. And there was wardrobe malfunction. So I was on my knees praying for another one. And I got flipped the bird.

I think that means the good lord has a sense of humor.

Please clarify the genus of the hippopotamus.

Now that I think about it, my ex-wife is not too far from here. She could do a good job of standing in for the hippo.

Ouch!

Is no one curious how you could possibly travel 800 miles southeast of the South Pole?

I'm amazing curious.

How did they figure SOUTHEAST?

Somebody, who is map challenged, looked at a south polar projection of Antarctica, noted where the South Pole is on the map, and then determined the drilling site was 800 miles "down and to the right" of the SP.

Well, there ARE two South Poles, you know. They're not at the same place.

And I assume that the rest are in Poland.

Well, misinformed "journalists" are nothing new...

In other news, I just picked up a new iPad app:

- Dinosaurs - CHECK

- Computer animations of same - CHECK

- Narration by Stephen Fry - CHECK

Yep, seems to hit all buttons.

Leo, et. al.,

For those of you curious about American culture (or lack thereof occasionally), the "honeybadger" is one of our latest memes. I don't pretend to entirely understand it myself, but it is pretty damn funny:

For your next trick, can you explain planking?

I'm off to the Home Depot to buy new locks for our external doors. It's cheaper than a locksmith to change the keys. The drama of an 18 year old girl's old, bad crowd of friends makes it necessary. I do NOT do drama.

Niece issues?

I ain't lookin' forward to that age range for my kids.

Wha did I miss?

The snow crystals are perfectly defined and they are sparkling - quite a sight!
