Just kidding!!!!!! HEY, what's wrong with Navy blue and bell bottoms?

What's wrong with them? What's right about them?

Dont forget the earrings and "swinging pigtails" not to mention all the "buggery, rum and the lash".

We were talking about the RN. Not the current RAF (where rum sodomy and kinky lashing is not only acceptable, It's fashionable!)

My apologies to anyone who might have received any SPAM or bizzarre emails from me. Last night my account was hacked (from an IP in Japan irronically). I'm very ,very sorry.

Good luck dealing with it. A password change for your email account is usually enough to stop the spams, and a scan from a good anti-virus to scrub away any other "gifts".

Thanks . I appreciate it. Strangely enough , the password was quite complex, comprising letters (both caps and not) and numbers , in no particular order.

I had my E-mail account hacked earlier this year, and I hated it. It felt like someone had pulled down my pants, and looked up my @&$#. I always wondered why they did it, as they didn't mass-spam any of my address book. But after a couple of weeks, and after I had my E-mail account reset. I received a E-mail from PayPal, asking me to activate my new password.

The JFBs are getting uppity.

When I saw "Japan" was the source , my 1st thought was "That little bastard!". Then I realized it was the country, not Helmut in drag again. (Hadn't had any coffee yet!).

Hey Des, Kristian asked me to pass along a "Hello" to you and to let you know you misspelled "Taiho" in your sig pic, but it looks like you've already taken it down.

Edit: Never mind, it must have been a forum issue. It's back.

A hotter-than-Phoenix morning tithe...

101F. in Pigs Eye yesterday, eh Chick.

It has been brutal here. Dew points in the 70's. Temps in the upper 80's low 90's. At least the severe thunderstorms have missed us. Bemidji area not so lucky. Two days in a row. One house outside of Grand Forks got hit by lightning and burned yesterday morning. The storms were just starting to brew-up, right over us as they moved off toward Bemidji.

Flying into and out of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and the Republic of Georgia, I remember looking down at the oppressive Soviet architecture. All faceless apartment blocks with seemingly identical flats. The "New Brutalism" style of architecture.

Oddly enough, I find it somewhat pleasant. If a get a chance, give this movie a shot (I've seen it with subtitles on DVD some time ago):

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0073179/

Its a pillar of Soviet cinema in its own right but the basic punchline is that all Soviet cities were filled with completely identical structures.
