So the water leak in the ceiling was dripping right on a light fixture.

Anyway, so the water was leaking on a light fixture. So in order to avoid a short they turned the lights off. So I'm sitting here in the dark.

I finally fixed the flat tire on my bike last evening and went for a short ride!

And youre back. I think Torsten is still working on his return.

Huge laps take their time. This time I drove to northern Germany. Some 500k

Congrats to Germany on the awesome results in canoe/kayak!

The oinly area where our athletes don't suck totally. Our swimmers had the worst result in 60 years, our riders as well.

German guy got silver in that crazy open water swimming event. Bravo!

I actually know him. He is also a member of the swimming club I'm going to start my triathlon training this fall...
Some of our fencers are of my accuaintance as well, as the German Mecca of fencing is closeby as well and I happened to know a few from friends and clubs.

They could've done better as well, though they did a fair job. But German riders won almost every gold in the last decades. Now, both dressage and jumping has the worst result for 84 years.

What is a faber?

Completing a full page of posts without anyone else managing to break your run. This is named after the pioneer of the technique. A Faber can take many forms; a series of zen like questions or statements, pure nonsense or possibly even something that makes sense although no-one has ever tried that particular approach.

It is considered bad form if an attempt is willfully shoddy in execution though, single words are acceptable towards the end but an attempt to carry out a Faber using only single words will be met with disqualification by the judging panel.

An ambitious competitor may also consider going for an elusive double-Faber.

I believe that a triple Faber (3 pages) has been achieved (...though I'm not going back to check).

Quite an achievement as it was done with with a full complement of forumites not thinned out by the latest round of enforced holidays.
