G'mornin' you lot. Waffles with a berry compote this morning for breakfast.

Dinner last night was some rosemary and sauted garlic lamb chops, Chayote with pepper feta and loaded baked potato. Yum...

Coyote?

Nein, herr Historiker. Chayote.

Sighs, ignorent americans. Denmark is on the same latitude as the aleutian islands. U dont need A/Cs up there do u? well actually i dont know, but lets say they dont. Oh, lets also pretend that the gulf stream doesnt excists either. Else my logic might be rather flawed and teh small fact that Torsten lives in Germany.
Its 3 years ago since it has last been this hot. A/Cs in cars only became an option in normal cars like 5-10 years ago and is still not that common.

I usually don't drive a lot and the last days with almost 2k km were an exception.
It was a deliberate choice to save 1k € for nor having AC which is needed - but only a few weeks per year.

I just had a sad conversation with Terminus on facebook. He doesn't intend to come back to us when his "time-out" is up.

Huh? Why?

He feels that Matrix doesn't treat people who add content and value , and treat some of the trolls too well. Not his words, I'm trying to summarize.

Personally , I feel terrible about it. He was the 1st one who helped me on the forum, when I was a complete and idiotic rookie.

Ah ok. Well, it's his decision. A little bit grumpy but otherwise a nice guy. I liked him and gonna miss him.

T rubs some people the wrong way, but he will be missed by many if he chooses to stay away.

Anyone know why it is important to have either one or three (or more) GFUs, but never two?

2007: Jennifer Strange, a 28-year-old woman from Sacramento, California, died of water intoxication while trying to win a Nintendo Wii console in a KDND 107.9 "The End" radio station's "Hold Your Wee for a Wii" contest, which involved drinking large quantities of water without urinating.

Already posted? Impressive how one can die. How much must she have gulped while her body shouted "STOP STOP STOP" just to get that console...

Hyponatremia ..... loss of electrolytes which can be seen at endurance events, such as triathlons, where athletes sweat out their electrolytes and drink only water. Symptoms often appear very similar to dehydration, so EMT's will administer IV fluids..... making the situation worse.

Of course, most of it was drivel.
