Have you guys seen the new commercial about the new Altima that honks when you're airing up the tires... honks at him everytime he needs to stop. Freakin' hilarious.

BTW...QE3 means huge pockets for the risk takers out there!! Buy Buy Buy!

DirecTV is up and running at home, but my internet service there has been down since Saturday. It should be activated sometime this evening, but I have to work late tonight. Hope I get home early enough to get it up and running before bedtime.

back from the cigar fair in Dortmund.

Didier Houvenaghel from Nicarao Cigars gave me one of his private blends. I am excited to smoke it after two weeks of rest in my humidor. I also spoke with Nick Perdomo about his new cigars. After that, we talked about the coming election. Man, that was funny!

Hi all,

As for the new phone, I got a Samsung Galaxy S3.

I somehow suspected that...

BTW, I held it in my hand and it felt "wrong" - too big... I still have Apple iPhone 4S...

Also I got Samsung Galaxy S2 for one of my co-workers on Friday - it also felt too big...

Thus I have big reservations for upcoming Apple iPhone 5... it is also bigger than Apple iPhone 3G/3GS/4/4S I used...

BTW, IMHO, Android is very nice and maturing with each version but nothing is yet as "comfortable" for me as i Phone iOS (and I do use "JailBreak")...

Leo "Apollo11"

The only advantage I can see to the iPhone is that I could the Dambusters app. I don't think that is enough of a reason to pay the money that they are asking for when the S3 does everything I wanted (and more) as well as the iphone and for considerably less.

I compared the two mentioned phones and think the Samsung is better by far, especially with the micro-SD. But I guess I'm going to buy me a RMotorola Razr Maxx. With that battery capacity, it seems like a blast!

My wife upgraded from the plain vanilla Droid to the Razr Maxx a few months ago. She loves the awesome battery life and the fast speed. She's very pleased with it.

Today was mostly spent in and around the radiator fairing of a MkII Spitfire. Not the most convenient of locations to work on

That's why I got the hell out. Last I was there, Ward Parkway, Crown Center, the Plaza, the art gallery, and Gates and Sons were the only redeemable parts of the city. Everything else about the city is rubbish. God help you if you end up east of Troost, or worse, Prospect. Crime rate and gang activity is horrible.

I hated living in KC.

Eh? I was expressing my support for the KC Royals, who recently delivered a rare (and needed by my A's) loss to the Texas Rangers.

Tonight it looks like a hard frost. Maybe down to 29F. The furnace was put into action last night for the first time.
And Friday, I plundered my accounts; I paid off the mortgage. I am done paying for a roof over my head for the first time since I left home when I was 19.

Seahawks demolished the Cowboys as predicted by moi to my friend, the crying Giants fan after Week 1.

Its very common to start a championship run at 0-1.

Yep. The boys got demolished. Your secondary looked very nice. Of course, the two special teams TDs that we turned over to you may have helped your score a bit, but a W is a W.

As for your 'championship run' starting at 0-1. Aye. It's also very common for a 5-11 season to start off at 0-1.
