Is UND in Division I hockey? It's kind of hard to remember, as the University of Minnesota buries them so often, I find myself wondering.

It is kinda hard to tell when they out draw several NHL teams in attendance. And how many NCAA and WCHA banners do the Goopher's have hanging from the rafters.

Bunches.

I heard Germans are like that. They get all reflexive pronoun on you right before they invade.

Nowadays, we only invade your wifes and daughters!

Well, it makes sense. Since you cant have guns or knives....or freebees anymore, thats the only "weapons" you have left.

True. And it is cocked and loaded!

Isn't that redundant?

Not as bunchy as ours. We'll have start hanging them in your arena. We're running out of space. Ouch.

Got a sure-fire way to chase the blues after a crappy day at work: Skype a THREAD brother and chat about the game, history, books, movies and life in general.

Thanks for the pick-me-up Steve-o.

You'd better keep some of your banners around as extras. You can tear 'em into strips and dab your tears when we run you out of the finals again this year, dude.

Are you in the Edmonton area? What's the mood like up there with all the recent bickering over a new arena?

I do live in Edmonton. The whole arena issue has turned into a gong show and the best word to sum things up here is frustrated. I'm not a big hockey fan, but do realize what the team brings to the city and would like things to move forward. The plans to build the stadium downtown is going to create a real traffic nightmare though.

And so it begins. This weekend league play begins. We'll see how we do suitinig up 16 players this weekend. Ten of our boys were naughty. Not that they didn't what I didn't do when I was younger. If they sweep weekend; be afraid, very afraid.

What happened to that famous German engineering?

I guess my next vehicle will of Japanese manufacture. At the very least they'll give you a half tank of gas, a map of Okinawa and a brief ceremony.

I think the problem is that its French engineering.

Odin, I think if you stuff a baguette and some fromage in the gas tank it'll be just fine.

I used to own a Colt (Mirage in some areas). I would tell my friends that it was a descendant of the Zero fighter...

Two hours to go and wait for the hockey games to begin.

Say Chickster; I was watching the Goofs against MSU last weekend. The announcers mentioned every kid dreams of playing for Minnesota someday. Wow! I never realized the kids down there had such a problem with nightmares.

Quite some yellow overtones in the image. I wonder if that's a light setting on the camera or 'yellow' exuding from Yuri and Steve's gameplay?

ETA: KIDDING!
