Evening (in Estonia) tithe.

Is it true? Did you invade? Did anyone notice?

Of course not.

Is that because you guys are so stealthy or because Estonians tend to be a bit.....umm....slow?

Hello, Yuri. I too understand the joke. I am a nerd.

In your case, you are not only a nerd but also a dork and a spaz.

It's a little similiar to the old

Tosser? Poofter? Hard to say precisely. Dixie, what is the proper British exclamation in this setting?

I can think of a good half dozen. Except most of them are not appropriate to share in a family forum. Wanker is a good all purpose insult, not too insulting, not too polite and British enough to be ethnic for all those foreigners out there.

Yes, but what did they actually *say*. My ear for bearhat slang is not so good.

Possibly something along the lines of "Make way for the Queen's Castle Guard." However it's spoken in drill language which, being in the RAF, I do not fully understand. This is why we march at the back of any parade involving the other two services, so that we have time to translate what someone has just yelled.

Shouting naughty words at tourists whilst in a tourist attraction is not considered to be a traditional career move.

Well, seeing as I'm not any kind of pongo then yes. Independent air force old boy, which means I have the bare minimum of knowledge about the shouty, shooty side of things. I'd like to maintain this situation.

Cool joke, BTW.

Fortunately, we now live in an era where being called a nerd is no longer an insult. In fact, it's considered a complement nowadays.

Hello, Yuri. I too understand the joke. I am a nerd.

In your case, you are not only a nerd but also a dork and a spaz.

Hey, dernit! I'm a geek too! Don't forget that!

Plus, I prefer "dorkwad" as a regional variant of the dorkage lineage.
