Any body who has been to Florida knows that the damned Redcoats would invade at the drop of a hat! But we'll be ready for them this time!

Theyve already retaken NY (did they ever lose it?). And they can have it as far as I'm concerned.

I agree....but we should KEEP Florida!

Why do they even ask. Anyone who does not have their sub toasted is worse than Hitler and has no business eating a sub.

Having a wife who is an accountant is an excellent source of info. For example, I've leaned that sales tax applies to toasted subs, but not untoasted.

Must be a California thing. I assume because it's cooked they treat it like a sit down meal?

Yes, there's future in mosquito-infested swampland.

As far as I'm concerned, we could dig a canal from the Okefenokee to Mobile Bay and let Florida drift away to Cuba...

Oh, you say it doesn't work that way? Well, maybe it will sink under the weight of all those retirees... any chance of that?

Funny , I felt the same way about your home state after I "escaped" from it. Of course with earthquakes and tsumani's it was always a possibility that Washington state could sink.

Well played, Steve.. Two in a row.

Won our coed volleyball game tonight.

Why is volleyball so much more fun than playing college football...oh well.

The good thing about Washington is that it is on the opposite corner of the country from Florida!

Other than that, my animosity for Florida does not spring from my residence here, but rather from being a loyal Georgia Bulldog (class of '81) and therefore a "Gator Hater". Oh, that and the fact that Florida is not the best place for riding a bicycle...

I'll agree with you about the bike riding. I was once picked off in a gated community. But then again , I was picked off twice in Maine (once from a SIDEWALK!).

And I can understand being a Bull Dawg why you don't like Florida. But being the furthest state from Washington is a feature, not a bug!

Mind you there's parts of Florida I'm not crazy about. But you can draw a big swath from Jacksonville to Pensacola (the "redneck Riviera") that I'm possitively crazy about! OK, you can technically keep going to Mobile, maybe even further .

I was under the impression that the jiggly bits went with the coed no matter which sport they were playing.
