ORIGINAL: Apollo11 Nice John - almost European Austria / Germany / Italy Alp like! Leo "Apollo11" Yes, it is. It's spectacular. I have some 35mm photos of my particular place in paradise. View of the yard and a close up. The neighbors are grazing cows, goats, sheep, and llamas, 'cause nobody's there, don't ya know (as if I would ever ask them to stop). Also have some pictures of me and some of the other coaches at the Sailing Center doing goofy faces. Don't know how they will turnout when scanned, but I'll try my best. Germans came to the region at the end of the 19th century. Mostly from Bavaria. Rural, pastoral, righteous, folk. They had an identity with their principality and kept to its traditions. After the revolution of '48, the immigrant flow became a flood. Took a while to get round the Horn and into Chile, but only the best made it, and it showed. They really are more gentle than you and me. You just can't imagine unless you spend some time on someone's stoep. Nazis, or anything approaching that excresence, will just not play. Ciao. John
