Germany rails ENG to Spain, Saragossa.

Japan moves their MAR one hex south to prevent being surrounded.

No land combat.

Germany reorganizes ENG in Spain.

On a 2 turn ends.

Turn end instructions will follow during the weekend.

One partisan appears in China and it blocks a resource from being used by Japan.

Another partisan appears in France and it also blocks a resource but this time it affects Germany.

----

How will Germany apply their pact markers and will they change the location of a marker?

Both markers to defense and if Germany at this point has 5 or more markers in defense (I have no idea how I have placed markets before) move lowest marker from defense to offense.

Jul/Aug '40 End of Turn

USSR place their pact marker in the offensive pool and moves one marker from defence to offence.

USA place one entry chit in the Japanese pool.

US begins to repair Western Allied ships. US pass a law that place a embargo on strategic materials. And US begin to escort ships along the US East Coast (the last one caused a tension chit to be moved to the tension pool).

I have struggled all morning with resource routing. For some reason I can not get the program to do what I want.

Unfortunately, I need a break from it, or I will suffer a breakdown.

I also suspect that I found a bug although I am not sure there is any point in reporting it since we play with a old version.

I hope that the break does not get extended but I do doubt that I will continue today. I am sorry about that.

Is it worth trying to update to the latest version to see if that helps?

I tried the latest version and the result was even more annoying.

----

The weird thing is that when I went back in the turn to a Allied autosave, then I could do the changes I can not do during the end of turn. I tried to do it during the last Axis impulse but failed.

Curious why doing the changes in an Allied turn works but not in the End of Turn phase.

Would you like me to have a look at it if you send me over instructions for what you are trying to route?

If you can't get it right, put it in the tech support forums. I've got problems with production planning too. There's something wrong there...

Okay, managed to make a start on the troublesome routing but there looks to be a minor bug with Saved oils. I'll post it to Tech Support.

During the return to base step CW sail with One CVL and one BB, from The East Med, trough the West Med where the Italian cruiser Fiume can intercept. Will Italy try and intercept the British ships?

Initiative

The initiative track has moved slightly toward the Allies and are now neutral. Will Axis demand a reroll and move it into the Allied zone?

Edit: Note that among the ships not shown in Liverpool is a 5 strength FTR2 hiding as well. There is also a lousy NAV 2 in Belfast.

The Axis demands a reroll but as the late summer begins the initiative in the war seems to move to the Allies. (Axis rolls 1 and Allies rolls 9)

Allies decide to go first.
