Just finished catching up on this AAR, looks like some 'interesting' action taking place. Looking forward to future updates.

Let's assumme the spearhead holds. How good is sov supply to the Leningrad area holding just a single port up north (Sviritsa ?)and a one hex wide corridor ?

the main effect it will have on the soviets is truck use since the main rail line is down.

As long as you have a functioning port they wont have supply issues as long as trucks are fine.

It seems that my final blizzard last turn up north had one more move before I executed.

I must have retreated from the tip . Worries of disaster probably and very low supply stocks in tanks which moved south one hex from the tip.

See map open below and no combat on the tip.

Thus I must have moved them.

2 or 3 wins for Russians at base of. Attacks on tank wall meant to injure (use your own adjective) German tanks.

Fierce Russian attack unsettles the whole extended northern front.

Major hex loss puts forward units at risk of encirclement.

Retreat units have to abandon many afv's due to frozen conditions.

Also Russian breakthru near rr junction must be contained

rr reinforcements route.
These units are coming up from Stalino area to save the day.

The connection of the rr's from the southern line thru Kharkov and the middle line to Kursk was actually filled in (connected) by the automatic rr repair process

Final north. I split up my mech unit at the tip so that the armor unit below wont retreat in wrong direction.

Also in the rescue party are 3 mountain units

Final North.

my right flank wall is getting larger defensives cv's as the forts levels slowly build.

I leave my trapped mech division to its fate.

The mountain divisions shipped up from Stalino really saved the day

Russians approach the rr sole supply rr line to all those northern tanks.

I feed in fresh reinforcements into the line . Just hoping I can build a solid line here.

Otherwise I will need to retreat the entire north tank blob. Supply from the left rr line is way behind schedule

Down south the Germans launch a very rare airfield attack.

I spotted recon and had to attack.

North final 29

Besides getting my tank force abused, the only redeeming thing is that Russians have had to leave good forces up north in this thick woods area.

. East. I wonder if some more action in the Novgorod sector could force the sov to release some pressure from your spearhead.

I would do the same thing tbh
Might pay off more to rest up, build forts and allow some release of pressure/attrition rather than placing aggresively and moving into some clear terrain in December as HL would likely just cause more losses from it at the moment
