Hey Vic, just going to put all the small stuff I notice while playing in this thread.

Some weirdness going on with models not renaming.





Should be "Hydroponics" not Hydroponic.

Annecdotally from speaking with a few MP buddies the ancient archive card seems to massively favor two techs, heavy battledress and serpentinization.

Well in my case i got hi tech industry and walker tech for that archive card. Nothing really wrong but it was only 1 game i just finished. And "truthfull" should be truthful in the empire overview I think.

Since the changes to nationalisation it seems to only have a hit of one happiness unless it's the only private asset in the zone.

Unclassified planets really need to be allowed to have more than 2 players, this seems to be an oversight especially as they can be generated with large sizes.

On Beginner and Regular you start with 20% income tax. On Hard and Extreme you start at 0%. This should at least be documented somewhere.

Game manual uses the term "Artefacts", but in-game UI says "Artifacts" (at least the tooltip in Regime Bottom tab).

I have very minor nitpick. I'd post a picture but apparently I'm not allowed to post links on forum yet.

When you inspect already deployed unit and look up model within unit you'll get statistic summary screen. On right side of the screen there will be picture of some random guy with text above it. It will say something like "Bostonian Milita" or "Darkspacian Green" etc.

The nitpick is that this name defaults to generated regime name even if you typed in your own faction name at game start. Maybe players should be able to specify that too at empire creation? I'd imagine just sticking -ian at the end of empire name might generate some weird sounding stuff.

It should be "diminished by" and the last one should be "reduced by".

This is also the case for all the other popups on the city screen (fear, militancy, danger, etc).

The chemical team seems really bad for 5! fate points, I would think maybe one or two FP at most. Most planets everyone is suited so it's just not that effective except against wildlife.


Is there any indication somewhere of what the health bonus provided by the ancient database is supposed to do? It's missing a tooltip and is all lower case unlike all the other modifiers.




Are council directors supposed to only provide bonuses to one task per turn? Or is this just bad rolls?


Same situation with military director.

Thanks for the input. Put a number of items in the next Patch.

As for the question... yes the Directors need to roll above 100 to provide a bonus for that round.

As for the minor nitpick.. i might add that option later. Its relatively complicated and i want to do some more urgent stuff first.

Gas powered MG and rifle needs a boost to be as good as High speed/Automatic rifle. Right now it's worse in every way except the ammo consumption despite being a higher tech level than High-speed weapons. Maybe it should just reduce ammo consumption of conventional small arms as a passive tech rather than being something you have to specifically equip.

Also should high-speed MG really use less ammo than advanced?

The Militancy pop up of a town does not show the Militancy increase caused by the Milita House asset. The increase is applied, however.

Having played through a bit more the OOB operationalisation costs still needs to come way down, operationalising OOB's is incredibly slow and just gets slower as the game goes on.

Archeology card is bugged, it sometimes doesnt work despite saying it has revealed artifacts and can also turn up deposits which are not in ruins.

I intended to raise an independent MG battalion (cost 15 metal). Since I had zero metal I purchased 32 metal. Raise formation screen does not seem to be able to instantly self-update to resource purchases from the same turn.
Opening and closing the "raise formation" screen does not function as an update workaround either like e.g. the decision screen (which updates after reopening if you sell stuff at the traders to create neccessary funds for a desired option)

Do you have logistical points in the hex you're trying to raise that formation?

If you hover over the 0% it tells you why it is limited.

Yes, all preconditions sufficient.

I spent like 30 seconds testing - no raise formation possible. Then I spent 10 minutes posting the issue online, game was idle in the background. Then raise formation screen suddenly worked (still the same turn!). Some weird updating delay issue going on under the hood. Pretty sure Vic will figure it out,

Syndic priests can be attached to Free Folk marauder units. However, game seems inable to save this attachment. Attached syndic priests evaporate into thin air the next turn.
