Allied night bombing of Dacca followed by more daylight raids on Jessore. An ASW Div of 3x Escorts sunk a USN sub near Akyab. 2x CA Divs and aerial bombardment of the Allied beachhead at Port Moresby led to a 2:1 deliberate attack, but caused more casualties (disablements) to the attackers. The Allied defenders must have passed the morale checks to avoid surrender.
