[ENDED] ElvisJJonesRambo (Axis) surrenders to Taifun (Allies: Was a heavy underdog against one the world's premiere players who specializes is whole slew of strategies. Wanted to give this guy a good fight, so no clowning for me. Japanese played it straight up. Was grinding well against China, bought 2-Artillery pieces & went the Fighter training route. Was well situated for any Air Battles. Gave limited help against Russia, by capturing Eastern portions of Red land, but not to the North. IJN was intact, with some battles near India/Burma. There was no Pearl Harbor, was keeping my Flat Tops at 110% readiness. Had Fighter near level 4 and LR-4. Gerry also played it straight up. Didn't goto North Africa, it's not my cup of tea, I lose alot of games in the Sands. Italy also rolled it back, had INF-2/AA-2. Double Armies in Sicily. Italy actually was given 2 Corps by Hitler, I get tired of losing them by the Swarm Morale trick. But this cost me, no Greece, which Taifun used Diplomacy. In late 1942, the British from the Sands were pecking their way North to Sofia soon. Royal Navy got tricky, it's Taifun, so that's to be expected. This guy bashed the fleet past Denmark. I was able to dodge that mess for the most part, but it did distract me. Royal Navy also got cute near Australia & surprise. attack New Guinea. I was able to pick-off a Carrier/Cruiser/Destroyer. Was happy enough starting Barby in March/April 1941. Reds had Fort all across Dneipper. Was a grind, but able to cross. Did cost me MMPs. The game was really lost at Smolensk. Got my ass kicked in August/September 1941 turns. Gonna bitch about the weather, because I was fine in August 1941. Then came early Rain/Mud. Moved up to his Forts twice, and the weather switched. Got kicked in the teeth. Lost 4 units. This was the different. Gonna double-bitch about weather, 8-months of notta. No offensive possible. Made the mistake of still moving forward, only to get smacked at Army Group Center & South. If I had to do it over, I won't be moving closer in bad weather. One turn of good weather by Reds, all it takes to get punched. Momentum lost, never to be regained. With the Reds in charge in the East, nothing else matters. Surrender. Berlin would have fallen in June/July 1943.
