I was able to hit Koggala today. Recon is showing 3 units and I have identified they as
the 6th Infantry Division, 80th Garrison Battalion, and the 11th air Fleet.
Interesting mix.

I hit the port, airfield and ground units. I got some port supply, some airfield supply hits
and a few disablements. I will keep at it.

I am continuing to bomb Koggala. No sign of KB or other TFs in the area.

I am going to air lift the 77th Chindit Brigade to Dambulla. It doesn't look
like he is going to be doing much on Ceylon.

I have called off Naval Bombardments at Mili, recon show only 280 troops there now.
I have a single B-24D unit bombing, that will be enough.

Landing at unoccupied Wewak this turn.

I think he is using Fast Transport to remove his troops
from Koggala. It is hard to hit DDs with torpedoes.\

Status: offline 		I wonder if Recon to raise the DL of a landing site could lessen beaching craft accidents ...
I do check LST captains on arrival on map and change out any with naval skills under 40. Seems to help. TF commander always has high leadership skill.

Don't worry about Trusty - it says right there on the ship screen she was designed for "War Emergencies".

I continued to hammer Koggala and its ocupients

He sent 14 waves of bombers in the night to Akyab. There were 120 bombers in all.
Akyab has 4 runway damage. I am not sure it is worth the expenditure of supply.

I do not see KB anywhere. SS Trusty increased here system and float damage 1 each.
I am surprised that with 74/74 experience she is not doing better.

last turn I moved my DS up to try and hit the tanker I had seen the turn before at Babo.
Unfortunately, I realized after the turn that you have to set you bombers on attack, not training
to have an effect. This turn I had them on attack and found a small TK TF at Sorong.

Status: offline 		I forgot about your lodgment at Lautem that gave you recon ability for Kendari. Shame on him for leaving a TF (or disbanded ships) like that without fighter cover. Perhaps he has overextended elsewhere and left a vacuum in this area that you can exploit for a few days.

Looking at yesterday, I see that he lost 3 Jakes on the ground
and again today he lost 3 Jakes. So it looks like I sank both
CAs and hopefully some of the DDs. I must move my CVs back South,
I see two TFs around Makassar that I need to investigate.

I would like to move a division into Manado, but I do not know where
his CVs are and I do not want to get hunt out to dry here.
Recon does show that there are no troops or aircraft at Manado.
Recon shows small forces at Makassar and at Kendari. I have Divisions
that can move to both.

I see a small TF 9 hexes from Koggala. I think it might be another
FT TF. I am going to move a SCTF into Koggala for a turn or two.

Saumlaki is completely cleared of enemy troops.

Bombing in the usual places by me.

Landed a small force at Waingapoe, a small island South of Makassar.

Funny, I swept Kendari and nothing opposed them. Recon shows some fighters there.

Not a lot happening

Waingapoe was taken and there are two AVPs moving there to support a PBY squadron.
Need to extend my naval search.

Forces landed at Aitape today, a DA tomorrow should take the base

I guess weather scrubbed most of my air mission all over the map.
A few flew, not many.

Interesting, Majuro flipped to my control via the 'rowboat corps' from Mili.

Still no sign of enemy CVs anywhere.

Dili was taken today.

Landings at unoccupied Namlea, will take it tomorrow.

Airfield at Kendari bombed again, a few more aircraft destroyed on the ground, no opposition in the air.

A new month, not much in the new aircraft factories this month.

SS Trusty made it to Trincomalee today. 12 days in pierside repair
and then 3 days firing up the boilers and she can move to Colombo and
get fully repaired.

A bit of normal bombing.

I am pulling the trigger on the Kendari invasion. I hope he does not
show up with too many CVs. I can handle a good number, but not all he has.
It is just too good of an opportunity to pass up. I have the 9th Australian
Infantry Division landing and I have a number of follow on units, engineers,
BFs and air HQ. I do not see any CV TFs in the area and I can see fairly far out now.

I forgot earlier that June 1943 has a large number of ship upgrades also. Mostly, but
not all merchants and auxiliary ships, but a few warships also.

Status: offline 		Interesting move to lunge for Kendari, but he has shown a tendency to underestimate what you can do. Time for a spanking ...

I sincerely hope the SS Trusty is not powered by boilers. The RN tried that in WWI and it was disastrous.
