Mannock -> RE: Filler Names (9/21/2006 5:33:48 AM)

Hey Sarge. Got a request. I know you got my name in already but I think it would be nice if you could do the honor and add my grandfather to a Jagdgeschwader. He actually did serve as a flak gunner in northern Germany during the last year of the war (he got drafted at the age of 16). So it's not historically accurate, but it would still be a nice thing to do, in his memory. His name was Peter Schildfat.

If it's possible, thank you.

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (9/21/2006 9:30:26 PM)

Lt. Peter Schidfat I/JG4 (109 G-6)

Sarge

Extremely late for this [:(]

Do you still have room in 1940 for an RAF fighter pilot by name of Henderson, J?

Cheers

Hartford

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (9/24/2006 8:41:35 PM)

give me a first name if you can, I think I can find a space

Hartford688 -> RE: Filler Names (9/24/2006 8:49:07 PM)

highblooded -> RE: Filler Names (10/2/2006 8:34:29 AM)

Hello, I'm not sure if I'm too late, but I just barely stumbled across this forum.

I was wondering if you still have name slots available for the 8th Air Force?
My Grandfather flew the B-17 in 1943 with the 385 Bomber Group 548 Squadron.

His name was Glyndon Bell.

For a small part of his interesting story goto http://www.flensted.eu.com/19430108.shtml

I would be honored if his name could be included.

Thank You

von Shagmeister -> RE: Filler Names (10/2/2006 11:28:40 AM)

Highblooded,

On what date did your grandfather join the 548BS/385BG?

Regards

von Shagmeister

1st Lt Glyndon Bell 385th BG (B-17)

good story, I am glad it had a good ending

Justascratch -> RE: Filler Names (10/2/2006 9:32:25 PM)

I don't have a name to add. I just finished reading this entire topic and couldn't help but think what a wonderful element to the art of game design your team has going. A story in itself. Good show.

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (10/9/2006 9:45:31 PM)

2nd Lt Jason Lewandowski, 81st FG (P-39Q)

rockmedic109 -> RE: Filler Names (11/4/2006 4:35:45 PM)

I got another name for you Sarge.

I just met 90 year old man at work.  He flew B-17s in the Med.  I was unable to find out what squadron before I had to move on, but I told him that I would ask that his name be added.

Wallace Holm.  I think he said he flew out of Italy.

Thank You
Stephen E Hood

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (11/4/2006 7:38:28 PM)

Kewl

with B-17s, we got a chance to be close at least, give me a few and I will get it in

rockmedic109 -> RE: Filler Names (11/4/2006 11:10:26 PM)

Please add Wallace Holm. A nice elerly gentleman that I met earlier today. He flew B-17s in the Med {out of Italy I think he said}.

A nice way to honor him I think.

Thank You

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (11/5/2006 12:36:14 AM)

1st Wallace Holm 2nd BG (B-17 F)

(if you you are able to find the right BG, I can correct it later)

A few more names for the mill

Lloyd Gross (His father was in a Luftwaffe AA unit so anything German)
Wade Hubbard (me, I just always wanted to fly a P-47)
Steve Moluse (His sister is named Edda in honor of Mussolini's daugther so something Italian.)

pauk -> RE: Filler Names (11/16/2006 4:32:18 PM)

greetings Sarge...

Is there any chance to fill a slavic name in Axis air force? (So-called Independent State of Croatia was German ally in war - from what i know, Croatian pilots fought on Russian theatre) ?

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (11/16/2006 4:36:04 PM)

Hi Pauk

the Croatian Airforce also fought against the 15th Airforce

and yes, we have Croatiain units and pilots

pauk -> RE: Filler Names (11/16/2006 4:41:37 PM)

great! Can you include Kresimir Alajbeg as fighter pilot?

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (11/16/2006 4:43:51 PM)

there were only so many slots for Nations, so we had to combine the Croats and the Bulgains into a name, which we are using as Co Ax

and as you may know, a lot of our info on these pilots is short
