They had a B-17G, a B-24, and a B-25 on display at the Lubbock Airport last week. While visiting I ran into and spent a good deal of time talking to a veteran who had flown as copilot the Navy version of the B-24 in the Pacific in WWII. Had some great stories to tell and it really made the visit fantastic. I'd love to see his name included.

Delbert Miller

panzerp -> RE: Filler Names (4/18/2008 7:01:06 PM)

I would like to add 2 if I could.

My Grandfather James C. Power - flew B-17s with the 100th BG
My Uncle Richard 'Red' Buhrman - flew out of africa in B-24's, I believe the 44th BG

Thanks!

Great idea!

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (4/18/2008 7:41:05 PM)

Capt. Delbert Miller 376th BG B-24D 9 day delay
Capt. James C. Power 100th BG B-17F at start
Capt. Richard Red Buhrman 44th BG B-24D 14 day delay

DrewBlack -> RE: Filler Names (5/4/2008 6:14:55 PM)

Hi

Could you put me in

Drew Black
RAF  Bomber or fighter  the choice is yours.

Drew

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (5/4/2008 6:39:54 PM)

PO. Drew Black, 124 Squadron, Spit HF.VII

von Shagmeister -> RE: Filler Names (5/4/2008 8:36:40 PM)

Sarge,

Can you include Steven Sawyers as a F/S with 29 Sqn. When he was in the RAF that was one of the sqns he served with. When I played a PBEM against him he always said if he was a pilot he'd like to be on nightfighters.

Cheers

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (5/5/2008 5:05:19 AM)

S. Steven Sawyers, 29 Squadron

von Shagmeister -> RE: Filler Names (5/5/2008 3:08:16 PM)

Cheers

Son of Jorg -> RE: Filler Names (5/7/2008 12:01:45 PM)

Great idea!

If it is still possible, I would like my name added.

Nick Jorgenson -  USAAF in BtR; I would prefer fighter pilot but of course bomber would be great as well.

Thanks!

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (5/7/2008 7:37:25 PM)

2nd Lt  Nick Jorgenson 50th FG, flying P-47D-20s with the IXth Airforce, got a bit of a delay before they come in, 275 days (minus 220 days in 44 campaign) ????

Son of Jorg -> RE: Filler Names (5/12/2008 8:45:51 PM)

That is fine sarge, thanks for the inclusion. [:)]

Not like I was going to be an Ace anyways!

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (5/12/2008 8:52:34 PM)

or you may be surprised, all it takes is being in the right place at the right time (as long as nobody else gets the same idea)

Theng -> RE: Filler Names (5/21/2008 5:28:55 PM)

Could I add Robert zum Tobel for the Germans, please?

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (5/22/2008 3:19:03 PM)

OFW Robert zum Tobel, I/ZG76 (flying Bf 110G-2/R3)

Roko -> RE: Filler Names (6/17/2008 8:26:15 PM)

If possible, please add name Martin Gandor for Luftwaffe fighter unit

Dobey455 -> RE: Filler Names (6/19/2008 1:18:25 PM)

Stuart Bruce RAAF, preferably BTR time period. (probably not possible any earlier, I don't think their were any RAAF Sqn's in the UK in 1940.)

Thanks[:)]

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (6/22/2008 8:12:17 PM)

sorry for the delay

FW. Martin Gandor I/ZG26 flying Me 410A-1/U2 with a 53 day delay

PO. Stuart Bruce 464 Squadron RAAF flying Mossies FB VI, 15 day delay

Dobey455 -> RE: Filler Names (6/27/2008 4:17:23 PM)

Thanks HS! I can't wait to see your finished product.....now that I'm in it I guess I have no excuse but to buy it [;)]

New York Jets -> RE: Filler Names (7/4/2008 12:36:22 AM)

I would like my name added.

Zap -> RE: Filler Names (7/5/2008 9:46:49 AM)

If you could add me into a polish unit Phillip

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (7/5/2008 12:53:09 PM)

Hi Zap
hmmm, I work with a Zap (most of the times, I am the only one who can say it)

will see what I got

Zap -> RE: Filler Names (7/6/2008 5:24:21 AM)

Hi Hard Sarge,
The person you work with. Is that his/her nickname? All the members of our familiy seem to pick up the zap nickname. This could be a relative of mine. Their last name, is it ?

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (7/6/2008 9:17:01 AM)

well, yea, I can see where the nick comes from :)

no, I don't think this is one of yours (in, don't know many who would want to claim him :)

his is more like

Zapasinak (of course, I think there are more letters in it, but that is how it sounds when you say it)

could tell lots of Zap stories, we had worked togeather for a long time

they normally call him Zap or Zapman

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (7/6/2008 2:13:28 PM)

Fw. Chris Trog, II/NJG 5, flying Bf 110G-4s

Po. Phillip Zapchenk, 305 Polish Squadron, flying Mitchell II (it should be changed to Mossie FBs, but the player is going to have to do this for BTR, it is already set in BTR44)

davidjruss -> RE: Filler Names (7/7/2008 10:02:26 AM)

We will know when the game is nearly finished when Hard Sarge advises that he cannot accept any more names for inclusion , as there has to be a cut off point sometime.

Davidr

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (7/7/2008 10:08:07 AM)

Well, not really :)

I can add until I get tired of adding, or I run out of slots to use

the hassle is, since it is a OOB file, the game will need a restart for the new changes to take effect

IE, I just reramped the 110s for BoB, got a new book in, with better detail info on that plane then I was able to get, so made some changes based on that

but...

Well its better that he was not one of the family, with that poor reputation.
Try me with the stories, though. I'm always a listener for a juicy story.[:)]

Thanks HardSarge for including me.

This could be the spelling Zapaznek. And yea those Zapaznek's what a crowd they are[:)]

HansHafen -> RE: Filler Names (8/2/2008 8:21:58 PM)

Can you add Jim Story? Thanks!

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (8/3/2008 11:37:14 AM)

2nd Lt Jim Story, 322nd BG, IX AF flying the B-26B

firecapt -> RE: Filler Names (9/7/2008 6:28:41 AM)
