Summary of Operations 6/13/43 Central Pacific: A reduced level of Jap air patrols continues to be reported by U.S. subs operating near Kwajalein, Canton Is area, and Pago Pago. Pillager appears to be shifting Jap air squadrons back and forth between bases in the Central and South Pacific theatres to occasionally change coverage of naval search air ops. Largest number of Jap air patrols now reported at Pago Pago - including G4M Betty (some of these moved southward from Kwajalein) plus continued flights by G3M Nell & land-based B5N2 Kates. At least one G5N Liz squadron now operating in the Kwajalein area. 21 Japanese ships detected at anchor in Kwajalein base.
