larryfulkerson -> Campaign for South Vietnam (5/7/2008 10:12:22 AM)

So um.......Curt Chambers is playing the Allied side of things and I'm playing the NLF side ( NLF = NVA + VC ). I'd like to take this opportunity to extend an open invitation to anyone, especially Curt, to post their comments / questions here since I seem to learn a lot from other people's comments etc.

I'm aware that sometimes time sensitive information may be contained in these posts and if there is valuable intell contained therein I'll post a sentence somewhere near the top that it's CLASSIFIED and that would mean that Curt shouldn't read it. I'm using the honor system you see. And then when the information becomes stale I'll edit the post to make it read UNCLASSIFIED and then anyone can read it etc.

I intend to post information about every move by every unit and why since our newest beginners may learn a thing or two by doing that. I wish I had AAR's to read that did that when I was learning how to play better. I don't have any information about the Allied side of the game to post ( unless Curt releases / posts it here himself ) so this may seem a bit one-sided at times. I'm hoping to keep the pictures small enough that they will fit into the limitations imposed by the posting system Matrix uses. I love pictures and I suspect that most of you guys do too.

Here's a list of the turns, classification, and where you can find them so far ( mostly for Curt's benefit ):

turn 1.......unclassified......next post

turn 8.......unclassified.....http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=1798370&mpage=5&key=?
turn 9.......unclassified.....http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=1798370&mpage=6&key=?
turn 10.....unclassified.....http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=1798370&mpage=7&key=?

EDIT: It just occurs to me that this list could get quite long and is somewhat of a pain to maintain anyway. So rather than that whenever I unclassify a turn I'll just send Curt an email with the news instead.

Anyway on with the show ( next post ).
