So considering what Mr. Gates has done for Windows and computers, what does this say about the agricultural revolution he wants to lead in Africa?

Africa shall take over... soon. The HQ shall be located in Denmark [:)]

Maybe you won't be able to buy potatoes without also buying a bundle of spinach, pineapples and celery. [:D]

Better, you will have to renew your licence to buy those each year.

Sub attack near Wake Island at 82,63

Japanese Ships
SS RO-34

Allied Ships
CV Lexington, Torpedo hits 2, on fire, heavy damage
DD Flusser
DD Maury, heavy damage

A RO boat no less.[:D]

KABLAMMO[:D]

Next day I managed to attack the port and get a bomb hit - AMMO EXPLOSION on Lex too. Still no sink of her sinking.

I am conducting a sneaky/risky operation with my remnant KB. They will leave Tokyo soon for Mariana's and then east to Wake to conduct a hopeful surprise attack on the place.

BrucePowers -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (6/30/2008 5:39:27 PM)

Can we post attachments yet? I want to add some stuff to the AAR.

It seems to have worked for Mynok...but then maybe it's some sneaky Martian trick.

Question: so at what point does "Oil prices hit a new high" stop being news?  There has been an article on that every day for at least the last three months. [8|]  Now, "Oil prices decline"...THAT would be news...and happy news at that.

It stops being news when it is no longer the number one factor impacting the economy. It could be news for quite a while. [8|]

He's being sneaky, and just pointing to another online host. [;)]

Bruce, you could probably upload your images to someplace like image shack, and then post links to them.

I whole heartedly agree that there is quite an oil frenzy these days. Where I think this differs, is that I don't think there is as much of a bubble in oil as the old dot-com days. I personally believe that less of this price runup in oil is caused by speculation than congress or the public wants to believe, and more of it is caused by a good old fashioned increase in demand. (Read, India and China)

For asparagus lovers Germany hosts a number of Spargelfests. You can find entire menu's based around asparagus/Spargel. One unusual recipe I adopted is a leek and asparagus soup with liver dumplings, very tasty. Plus since the Spargelfest usually occurs in April/May you can usually find deals since tourist season isn't in full swing[:)].

I thought this and then a friend of mine who is relatively high up in 'big oil'.....said it was all 'Wall Street spec.' (not just WS but world wide stock markets) .....causing the problems.......although he was not concerned as his bonus was on the up..................but let's refrain from any thought that may be seen as political......my.... we are having loveley weather here in th UK.....at least for the next 10 minutes......and the price of herring is down.....ish....
