Quite nice!

Last week the heat was unbareable (+35 degrees Centigarde) and it strated to rain yesterday - now temperatures are around nic +25 degrees centigrade... it is very beautiful and sunny day...

stuman -> RE: THE THREAD!! (7/19/2009 5:12:38 PM)

Happy Sunday to all. Beautiful day here, sunny, a remarkable 74 degrees ( unheard of in the Deep South in July ). I hope all is well with everyone today.

Looking forward to an exciting day in the Swiss Alps for Le Tour.  [8D]

An absolutely beautiful attack by Alberto there on the final climb. My hopes are that Craig and Bob will finally shut up about "strife within Team Astana"...

Tuesday's stage over the St Bernards will be interesting, but I believe that - barring disaster - the tour will be decided in two more stages: the Annecy TT and the climb up Mont Ventoux. Alberto, Lance and Andreas need only mark the other contenders on the other stages.

Apollo11 -> RE: THE THREAD!! (7/19/2009 7:17:36 PM)

Hi all,

"Kelly's Heroes" on TV here (last week it was "Where Eagles Dare")... [:)]

Sunday chores Tithe [&o]

The repair rules are very cool, Japan must definitely pay attention to its tenders.

Terminus -> RE: THE THREAD!! (7/19/2009 7:34:58 PM)

The repair rules were some of the stuff we fuzzed over the most, along with loading and unloading and those ever-so-pretty waypoints. Lots of fun.

"Fuzzed" or "fussed"? You need to be clearer, Toejam.

Terminus -> RE: THE THREAD!! (7/19/2009 8:33:50 PM)

I just spent about half an hour assigning the historically correct division commanders to the US divisions in the Downfall scenario. That makes me a nerd, but it also makes me happy, so there...[:'(]

Ya need to Toe-tally refrib the frawlpin, and Toe that mark, there, Viking-boy.

Woof !! Me and Don, and Erik too, spent a couple months on the repair thingy. If anything, it's the most rewritten (and supremely, perfectly, and precisely historically accurate) bit of code in the box; except, of course, some of the underway damage control algorithms and some other places where it breaks ...

As for loading and unloading, me and Don spent more than a couple months on that little wretch. If anything, it's the second most bit of rewritten (and supremely, perfectly, and precisely historically accurate) bit of code in the box; except, of course, where it breaks ...

Waypoints? We don' have no waypoints; we don' need no steenkin' waypoints. [:D]

Toe-riffic stuff, there, even if it does tend to bleed a trifle.

Ciao. John

And you need to learn basic personal hygiene, but we all have our problems.

Bro, didja ever play basketball against a Greek team? I mean, down low on the blocks? The smell is enough to put you off your food.
