I can understand why any woman would object to anyone buying a book. Would she rather you have a cocain addiction? Maybe you should waste it at a strip joint? Please... No woman ever understood why a man would buy a book on military history. That's not just LogBoy's GFU...
Obviously you guys need to shop around more. When I buy a book on Naval, military or aviation history , my spouse asks if I'd mind if she picked up a book on the US civil war , or perhaps on the Armarda! There are girl history majors too! (it makes it easy to swap out , and read each others too!). [:D]

Hi, i hope it is not too late to step into the breach for Steve´s wife!
Apart from being a great cook and host she really likes history and i still remember with gratitude and appreciation all the interesting discussions we had this evening. The library includes nearly all aspects of military history and is shared by both.
So cursed shall be those who doubt that this man has found a partner who understands and supports his hobby and his interest in history [:'(]
