Well that ought to finish off the Allied CV corps for quite some time! I noticed a few things in the A/C losses that you posted earlier-- The P1Y Frances definately went down in large numbers without escort, but I notice that very very few were destroyed by flak. Is this a result of the qualities of the bomber? or is it that so few of them managed to get through. Also see that flak losses for the CV bombers was quite awful--- well nonetheless they did get through, and I don't think you will have to worry about this sort of attack again anytime soon.[:D]

Waow... Scary... Had the allies still all their ground forces, they could go for Massive LBA covered, slow but doables invasions. but no Flightdecks and no CVs... Tough.

Well, heavy LBA might supress the airfield on the base under attack, but without CV's the transport and bombardment ships are dead meat against the long range torp bombers japan has plenty of and watch out for the KB! It might be possible to take the gilberts with very heavy losses and no more big mistakes, but it would be almost impossible to advance on the marshalls or Truk because there will be nothing stopping a large counterattack. I think you win Castor,---- and not to mention AE is finally coming out anyway.

Good lord. The horror. The horror. Negotiated peace by the Allies would be the likely result of these continued IJN victories. No matter how much you can produce, eventually morale collapses as you come to believe the other side are uber mensch. Congratulations. I've learned a lot. While it must be conceded that this latest disaster had more to do with Allied tactics, you still pulled off numerous operational gems. Foremost in my mind is the long and ultimately wildly successful NW Australia campaign. [&o][&o]

Thanks guys. Only one turn the last three days and no time lately to update the AAR lateley (the game is ahead a week at the moment). The Allied took a real defeat the last days with CVs and BBs sinking en masse around the Gilberts. Bigbaba nevertheless doesn´t seem to be unhappy (hopefully he isn´t). AE is just around the corner and while this AAR was titled "waiting for AE" the plan was to wait until AE and the first one or two patches are released. Therefore it would have been great if this PBEM would make it into really late stages of the war. It´s end 43 and the carriers that were lost will come back.... mid 45. [:D] Don´t know about the carriers that I´ve sunk twice already.

USS Bunker Hill, also a victim of combined strikes of the IJNAAF near the Gilberts. BANZAI! BANZAI! BANZAI! USS Bunker Hill (CV-17, later CVA-17, CVS-17 and AVT-9), 1943-1973 USS Bunker Hill, a 27,100-ton Essex class aircraft carrier built at Quincy, Massachusetts, was commissioned in May 1943. After working up in the Atlantic, she arrived in the Pacific war zone in time to participate in strikes on Rabaul and in the conquest of the Gilberts during November and December 1943. In the first two months of 1944, Bunker Hill took part in the Marshalls operation and raids on Truk and the Marianas. Air attacks on Japanese bases throughout the Central Pacific, and support for landings at Hollandia, New Guinea, followed in March, April and May. In June, Bunker Hill was part of the fast carrier forces that covered the invasion of Saipan and defeated the Japanese Mobile Fleet in the Battle of the Philippine Sea. In the latter action, she was lightly damaged, suffering two crewmen killed and many injured when a bomb hit nearby. Bunker Hill helped actively prosecute the war with Japan through most of the remaining months of 1944. Her planes supported the invasions of the Palaus in September, Leyte in October, and raided enemy bases in the Western Pacific. Early in November, following more than a year of combat operations, she steamed to the United States for an overhaul. Repairs completed by late January 1945, Bunker Hill returned to the Western Pacific in time to participate in the February invasion of Iwo Jima and in raids on targets in Japan during February and March. As flagship of Task Force 58, she was also active in the next big operation, to capture Okinawa, and provided aircraft for the massive effort to sink the Japanese battleship Yamato on 7 April. While off Okinawa on 11 May, Bunker Hill was hit by two enemy "Kamikaze" suicide planes, losing nearly 400 crewmen killed in the resulting explosions and fires. Despite severe damage, the carrier was able to return under her own power to the U.S. for repairs. Bunker Hill was back in service in September 1945, just after Japan surrendered. She transported servicemen home from the Pacific during the rest of the year, but was inactive from January 1946 until she was placed out of commission a year later. While laid up, she was reclassified three times, becoming CVA-17 in October 1952, CVS-17 in August 1953 and AVT-9 in May 1959, the latter designation indicating that any future commissioned duty would be as an aircraft transport. However, she was one of the two Essex class carriers that saw no Cold War active service. Stricken from the Naval Vessel Register in November 1966, Bunker Hill was used as a stationary electronics test platform at San Diego during the 1960s and early 1970s. USS Wasp, sunk after being severly damaged by bombs and torpedoes. BANZAI! BANZAI! BANZAI! USS Wasp (CV-7), 1940-1942 USS Wasp, a 14,700 ton aircraft carrier, was built at Quincy, Massachusetts. She was commissioned in April 1940 and spent the next two years in the Atlantic area, taking part in exercises, Neutrality enforcement, "short of war" operations and early World War II tasks. In April and May 1942, Wasp assisted the British Home Fleet in the North Atlantic and twice entered the Mediterranean Sea to deliver Royal Air Force aircraft to Malta. Wasp was dispatched to the Pacific in June 1942 to reinforce U.S. Naval forces there in the wake of the carrier battles of Coral Sea and Midway and in preparation for offensive operations in the Southern Pacific. In early August, she participated in the invasion of Guadalcanal. The remainder of her service life was devoted to the effort to hold that vital island in the face of Japanese attempts to recapture it. On 15 September 1942, while steaming well to the southward of Guadalcanal, USS Wasp was torpedoed by the Japanese submarine I-19. USS Saratoga sunk on her retreat from the Gilberts. BANZAI! BANZAI! BANZAI! Saratoga got sunk twice already, this time it was the Essex class... [;)] USS Saratoga (CV-3, Originally CC-3), 1927-1946 USS Saratoga, a 33,000-ton aircraft carrier, was converted from the battle cruiser Saratoga (CC-3) while under construction at Camden, New Jersey. Commissioned in November 1927, as the second of the Navy's initial pair of fully capable aircraft carriers, Saratoga spent the years before World War II taking part in exercises, training aviators and generally contributing to the development of carrier techniques and doctrine. She was in the Pacific when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941 and took part in the abortive Wake Island relief expedition later in that month. While operating in the Hawaiian area on 11 January 1942, she was struck by a torpedo from a Japanese submarine, necessitating several months of repairs, during which her eight-inch guns were replaced by the more useful 5"/38 dual purpose type. Saratoga returned to action in June 1942, in time for reinforcement operations immediately following the Battle of Midway. She was next engaged in supporting the Guadalcanal Operation in August 1942, including participation in the Battle of the Eastern Solomons. Another enemy submarine torpedo hit on 31 August put her in the repair yard for two months. The carrier was back in the South Pacific war zone in December 1942, spending the next year in that area. In November 1943, her planes made devastating raids on the Japanese base at Rabaul and supported the Gilberts operation later in the month. In January and February 1944 Saratoga took part in the invasion of the Marshall Islands. She then was sent to join the British Eastern Fleet in the Indian Ocean and participated in raids on Japanese positions in the East Indies during April and May 1944. An overhaul from June to September prepared her for employment training aviators for night operations. In February 1945, she carried night fighters during the Iwo Jima invasion and raids on the Japanese home islands. Several Kamikaze suicide plane hits on 21 February caused serious damage and casualties, sending her back to the U.S. for another session in the shipyard. Saratoga returned to service in May, again taking on a training role that lasted until Japan's surrender. Beginning in September 1945, she transported servicemen from the Pacific back to the United States as part of Operation "Magic Carpet". Too old for retention in the post-war fleet, Saratoga was then assigned to target duty for the atomic bomb tests at Bikini, in the Marshall Islands. She survived the first blast, on 1 July 1946, but sank after the 25 July underwater test. USS Saratoga still lies beneath the waters of Bikini atoll, where she is occasionally visited by divers. One fatal casualty. (For full details see A FORMIDABLE COMMISSION and above references). 18th Fire in hangar after CORSAIR aircraft accidentally fired guns during refuelling. 30 aircraft were destroyed or made unusable in this conflagration. 19th Resumed air operations on Sakishima Gunto despite shortage of aircraft. 22nd Detached before completion of operations and left operational area for passage to Manus escorted by HM Destroyers KEMPENFELT and WHIRLWIND. June On completion of temporary repair at Manus took passage to Sydney Repair and R&R in Sydney. July Redeployed with HM Aircraft Carriers IMPLACABLE and VICTORIOUS as part of US 3rd Fleet in Task Force 37. (Note : US Naval Command structure had been changed and British Pacific Fleet was redesignated as Task Force 37). Force 37 comprised:- HM Battleship KING GEORGE V (Flagship of Vice Admiral, British Pacific Fleet. HM Aircraft Carriers FORMIDABLE (Flagship), VICTORIOUS and IMPLACABLE. (Note : HMS IMPLACABLE was delayed by defect from sailing from Manus). HM Cruisers NEWFOUNDLAND (Flagship), BLACK PRINCE, EURYALUS, UGANDA (RCN) and GAMBIA. Robert Gray, DSC, RCNVR bombed and sank the Japanese frigate AMAKUSA despite extensive cross-fire from other ships. Not just fleet carriers got sunk en masse, also CVLs. We start with CVL Cowpens. USS Cowpens (CVL-25, originally CV-25, later AVT-1), 1943-1960 USS Cowpens, an 11,000-ton Independence class small aircraft carrier built at Camden, New Jersey, was commissioned in May 1943 with the hull number CV-25. She was redesignated CVL-25 two months later and arrived in the Pacific in September to join the war against Japan. After seeing combat for the first time in the October 1943 raid on Wake Island, she participated in the Gilberts and Marshalls invasions during the last two months of 1943 and the first two months of 1944. From February until May 1944, Cowpens and other Fifth Fleet aircraft carriers attacked enemy targets in the Central Pacific and New Guinea. She took part in the Marianas campaign, including the Battle of the Philippine Sea, during June 1944, and continued her support of operations in that area into July. In September 1944, Cowpens covered the invasions of the Palaus and Morotai. Over the next three months, she participated in raids on Okinawa, Formosa and the Philippines and in the great Battle of Leyte Gulf. Her combat activities continued into January and February 1945, with raids around the South China Sea and Philippines areas and support for the landings at Lingayen Gulf and Iwo Jima. Following a west coast overhaul, Cowpens returned to the war zone in June 1945. During the last months of the Pacific War, her aircraft pounded Wake Island and targets in the Japanese home islands. Support for the occupation of Japan was followed by duty transporting war veterans home from the Pacific during late 1945 and early 1946. Cowpens was decommissioned in January 1947 and spent the rest of her Navy service in the Reserve Fleet. She was briefly reclassified as an aircraft transport, with the new hull number AVT-1, in May 1959 and was sold for scrapping a year later. Not just did the enemy lose valuable CVs (of which most of them will come back in mid 45) but also lost valuable CVLs, that won´t come back. Next confirmed sinking is CVL Princeton. BANZAI! BANZAI! BANZAI! USS Princeton (CVL-23, originally CV-23), 1943-1944 USS Princeton, an 11,000-ton Independence class small aircraft carrier, was built at Camden, New Jersey. Originally laid down as the light cruiser Tallahassee (CL-61), she was converted to a carrier before launching and redesignated CV-23. That hull number was changed to CVL-23 in July 1943. Princeton was commissioned in February 1943 and, following shakedown operations in the Atlantic area, arrived at Pearl Harbor in August. She covered the occupation of Baker Island in August and September and raided Makin and Tarawa later in September 1943. Princeton had a busy November, supporting the Bougainville landings, raiding Rabaul and Nauru and participating in the invasion of the Gilbert Islands. Following a quick overhaul at the Puget Sound Navy Yard, Princeton helped in the conquest of the Marshall Islands in January and February 1944. Over the next four months, her planes attacked Japanese targets in the Central Pacific and supported amphibious landings at Hollandia, New Guinea. In June, Princeton participated in the invasion of Saipan and the Battle of the Philippine Sea. She continued to cover the Marianas operation in July, then joined in raids on the Palaus, the Philippines, Okinawa and Formosa during August, September and October. On 24 October 1944, Princeton was off the northern Philippines, taking part in attacks on Luzon airfields to support the Leyte invasion. That morning, she was hit by a Japanese dive-bombing attack and set afire. The blaze could not be contained, and in mid-afternoon a bomb magazine exploded. The after part of the ship was wrecked and severe casualties inflicted on the crew of USS Birmingham (CL-62), which was alongside helping to fight the fires. CVL Monterey, one of the 7 enemy flight decks confirmed sunk only this turn. BANZAI! BANZAI! BANZAI! USS Monterey (CVL-26, originally CV-26, later AVT-2), 1943-1971 USS Monterey, an 11,000-ton Independence class small aircraft carrier, was built at Camden, New Jersey. Begun as the light cruiser Dayton (CL-78), she was converted to an aircraft carrier well before launching and commissioned in June 1943 with the hull number CV-26. A month later, this was changed to CVL-26. Monterey transited the Panama Canal to the Pacific later in the year, and took part in the invasion of the Gilbert Islands in November. The following month, her planes raided Kavieng, New Ireland. During the first half of 1944, Monterey participated in the Marshalls operation, attacks on the Japanese in the central Pacific and New Guinea, the Marianas invasion and the Battle of the Philippine Sea. After an overhaul, she rejoined the fast carriers for strikes on Wake Island, the Ryukyus and the Philippines in September-December 1944. In October, Monterey took part in the Battle of Leyte Gulf. Late in the year, she was damaged while steaming through a typhoon and had to return to the U.S. west coast for repairs and another overhaul. The carrier returned to the combat zone in time to contribute her air power to the conquest of Okinawa. In July and August 1945, she attacked the Japanese Home Islands. After a trans-Pacific voyage bringing veterans home from Japan, Monterey went to the Atlantic, where she was employed transporting men from Italy to the United States. She was decommissioned in February 1947. After more than three years in "mothballs", the outbreak of the Korean War brought Monterey back to active duty. She recommissioned in September 1950, but remained in the Atlantic area. Sent to Pensacola in early 1951, she served as training carrier from then until mid-1955. Decommissioned again in January 1956, she returned to the Reserve Fleet. Monterey was reclassified as an aircraft transport in May 1959, with the new hull number AVT-2, but had no active service in that role. She was sold for scrapping in May 1971. I don´t know if this will be the last Allied carrier that goes down or if there are more, I really lost the overview of what was heavily hit and what has been sunk. [:D] All I know is that we hardly could achieve a bigger victory and all we´ve lost in regards of capitol ships was CV Junyo that was struck by 9 x 1000lb GP bombs. Both CVEs that were disbanded at Makin will make it as it stands now, also the damaged DD. What a victory gentlemen! We have 200 Tonies flying Cap over Makin (means probably 100 in the air) so unescorted 4E strikes should be turned back as long as the bombers are low on morale (which they definetely are at the moment). It will take a couple of turns more and the CVEs will head out of the dangerous area with a big DD escort. Both CVEs have around 90 sys damage and will be out of action for probably 4-5 months I guess...

CV Lexington is the next confirmed sinking! BANZAI! BANZAI! BANZAI! USS Lexington (CV-2, Originally CC-1), 1927-1942 USS Lexington, a 33,000-ton aircraft carrier, was converted while under construction from the battle cruiser of the same name. Built at Quincy, Massachusetts, and commissioned in December 1927, Lexington was one of the U.S. Navy's first two aircraft carriers that were large and fast enough to be capable of serious fleet operations. During the late 1920s, through the 1930s and into the early 1940s, she took an active part in the development of carrier techniques, fleet doctrine and in the operational training of a generation of Naval Aviators. Lexington was in the Pacific when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor and took part in the U.S. Navy's first wartime operation, the abortive attempt in December 1941 to relieve Wake Island. In February and March 1942, she raided Japanese positions in the southwestern Pacific, then returned to Pearl Harbor for a brief overhaul and removal of her eight-inch guns. In early May, Lexington returned to the South Pacific in time to join USS Yorktown (CV-5) in successfully countering the Japanese offensive in the Coral Sea. On 7 and 8 May 1942 her planes helped sink the small Japanese aircraft carrier Shoho and participated in attacks on the large carriers Shokaku and Zuikaku. In turn, however, she was the target of Japanese carrier planes and received two torpedo and three bomb hits. Though initial damage control efforts appeared to be successful, she was racked by gasoline explosions in the early afternoon of 8 May. When the fires raged out of control, Lexington was abandoned by her crew and scuttled, the first U.S. aircraft carrier to be lost in World War II. March 1945: Further repair and upgrades abandoned due to lack of materials. 1 April 1945: Moved from Sasebo docks and anchored in nearby Ebisu Bay. 23 April 1945: Still at Ebisu Bay, near Sasebo. Camouflageing begun. 24 April 1945: Classified as ship of 4th Reserve Fleet. May 1945: In Ebisu Bay, Sasebo. Moored with incomplete carriers KASAGI and IBUKI. Crew under training, and engaged in camouflage and upkeep. 12 May 1945: Captain Maehara Tomiyoshi assigned as commanding officer. 20 June 1945: Classified as guard ship. 5 August 1945: Captain Maehara ordered to strip carrier of all armament and other equipment for defense use elsewhere. 2 September 1945: Japan surrenders, and the three carriers at Sasebo turned over to the Allies. 8 October 1945: Boarded by American Naval Technical officers. After inspecting the ship, declared that repairs to restore the vessel to service would be a waste of resources. Delegated for scrapping. 30 November 1945: Removed from Navy List. And now look at this! I´ve ordered all my troops out of Townsville just to cause some confusion (or not [;)]). Not much to achieve against the Allied 2000 av behind level 9 forts when the enemy can build the forts up from 8 to 9 within just a couple of days. [8\|] Therefore I just wanted to make my opponent think about what I´m up to, even though I don´t even really know myself what I´m up to in this area. [:D] Well, we moved our 4000+ av out of Townsville and what are the Allied doing? They follow us with 12 units. Not sure what is really following us but it can only be something like 2000 av max as there wasn´t more at Townsville. LOL! While I can´t harm the Allied behind level 9 forts at Townsville, I guess I can harm them at Charter Towers in a clear hex. Why is he doing this? USS Intrepid tried to escape heavily damaged from the Gilberts but her crew lost the fight against heavy fires and floatation damage. The carrier is confirmed sunk! BANZAI! BANZAI! BANZAI! USS Intrepid (CV-11, later CVA-11 and CVS-11), 1943-1982 USS Intrepid, a 27,100 ton Essex class aircraft carrier built at Newport News, Virginia, was commissioned in August 1943. After arriving in the Pacific, she operated in support of the Kwajalein invasion in January-February 1944. On 17 February, while taking part in raids on the Japanese central Pacific base at Truk, she was hit by an aerial torpedo. An improvised sail was used to help maintain course while she steamed to Pearl Harbor for repairs. The carrier was back in the combat zone in September 1944. Over the next few months, she participated in strikes on the Palaus, Okinawa, Formosa and the Philippines. Her planes sank or helped to sink several Japanese ships during the 24-25 October Battle of Leyte Gulf. On 25 November, while attacking targets in the Philippines, Intrepid was hit by a suicide plane. She lost over sixty officers and men and had to go to the U.S. for shipyard work. Intrepid returned to the western Pacific in time for attacks on the Japanese home islands in mid-March 1945, during which she was lightly damaged by a "Kamikaze". She next participated in the Okinawa operation, beginning in late March. On 16 April, two suicide planes attacked her, one hitting the flight deck and causing enough damage that Intrepid again needed Stateside repairs. Japan surrendered while she was en route to rejoin the fight in mid-August, and she spent most of the rest of 1945 supporting occupation efforts. Inactive through much of 1946, Intrepid was decommissioned in March 1947. Temporarily recommissioned in February 1952, Intrepid went to Newport News, Virginia, for thorough modernization over the next two years. Redesignated CVA-11, and now equipped with a stronger flight deck, new island and powerful steam catapults, she reentered active service in June 1954. The carrier twice deployed to the Mediterranean during 1955-56, then was further updated with an angled flight deck and enclosed "hurricane" bow. She continued her Atlantic and Mediterranean attack carrier operations until late 1961. In March 1962 she was reclassified as an anti-submarine warfare (ASW) support aircraft carrier with the new designation CVS-11. Into the mid-1960s, Intrepid took part in anti-submarine exercises in the Atlantic area, occasionally deployed to European waters and helped with space flight recovery work. Following a major overhaul, the ship was given an air group of light attack planes and the temporary designation of "special attack carrier" for Vietnam war service. She deployed to Southeast Asia three times in 1966-69 before returning to her regular Atlantic Fleet ASW role. Intrepid cruised in the Mediterranean in 1971 and 1973 and visited Northern Europe in 1972. Decommissioned in March 1974, she was a Bicentennial exhibition ship at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1976. USS Intrepid was stricken from the Naval Vessel Register in February 1982 and transferred to a New York City organization for further service as a museum, a role she plays to the present day. Mainly due to major Allied mistakes performing the evacuation of Allied troops on Makin. The enemy´s carrier force is shattered and I wonder how the game will go on. In two months the first land based Type 13 radar sets should be available, as well as the new IJNAAF short range fighters the Jack and the George. The George (range 4 hexes) will be needed to fend off Lightning escorted 4E bomber strikes while the Jack will be the IJAAF fighter for short range escort (range 6 hexes). Of course we will have to keep high experienced A6M3 daitais around to escort Frances bombers on long range strikes. And there are still 250-350 more in need of training... if we would have lost the carrier engagement near the Gilberts than the Allied now would have the initiative because my carriers and a lot of my LBA would have been trashered. As it stands now, parts of my LBA has been knocked out (with enough in reserve to be a threat though), my carrier force will be in perfect shape in two weeks at the latest while the enemy has lost Now some screenshots that could be of interest. Let´s start with the Allied CV losses. As you can see, 15 Allied CVs have been confirmed sunk so far, I don´t know if more went down that we didn´t get the confirmation yet, but I guess that should be all. The Allied CV/CVL losses don´t even fit into one screen anymore. LOL! Notice that we have sunk Saratoga and Enterprise twice already... [sm=character0169.gif] Five Essex class carriers sunk and also very important, four of the British carriers sunk. And the CVEs that were all sunk during the Allied operation to supply Wyndham. Sinking CVEs is important but there will be coming so many of them out of the Allied shipyards that it will be quite hard for us as soon as there are enough around. 15 of those can form one CV TF (450 carrier based ac) per hex and they mostly carry fighters with only 9 torp bombers. This would mean that they can put up a huge Cap to cover amphibious operations while not being a real threat offensively. I don´t know if the CVE based FM-2s can be upgraded to Hellcats. And the Allied battlewaggons that have been sunk so far. A couple of damaged ones should be around too, I guess there are still two dozen BBs left for the Allied (without those that are still to come as reinforcements). We outperform the enemy´s carriers at the moment but can´t compete with the number of battleships, not to talk about the dozens of cruisers. And here are the losses of IJN capitol ships! It made my smile a bit... [;)] I didn´t take screens of Allied cruisers lost but in total, some two dozen were lost. Both the two BBs lost and the heavy cruiser lost were "unfortunate" happenings. Hyuga was lost because of me being stupid and positioning my BBs within range of Karachi´s Swordfish, Mutsu moved just one hex short to be save when the enemy carriers also moved one hex closer than the turn before in the Gilberts and Haguro was hit by one torp off Darwin that detonated one of here main ammo magazins. CV Junyo was taken out by 9 x 1000lb GP bombs at the beginning of the carrier engagements near the Gilberts. It´s nevertheless nice to compare our losses so far to the Allied losses. I was not surprised that bigbaba would send his 4Es to take out the ships that were disbanded at Makin but I was more than surprised about this strike. Of course we don´t even get 50% of our fighters into the air, they nevertheless perform really well. More than half of the bombers turned back (nearly no B-24D dropped their loads) but there were still 70+ bombers performing a low altitude carpet bombing run on my ships that were anchored near the atoll. CVE Chuyo was hit three times with 500lb bombs (the 4Es are coming from a level 4 airfield and are at extended range - so much for the myth that bombers wouldn´t attack from too small airfields at extended range) and I´ve thought during the attack that this could mean trouble for the CVE. But what really strikes me is the number of bombers in this attack... hmm, perhaps it´s just my paranoia once again but if they are coming from a level 4 airfield than there are not more ac allowed than af size x 50 + 10% max, means 220 aircraft. Well, 197 bombers were coming in, leaves room for 23 spare aircraft. This would more or less mean that there shouldn´t be a lot of damaged bombers (from ongoing long range attacks the last weeks), nearly no fighters, nearly no patrols. I can´t prove it, but I highly doubt that the stacking rule applied for this base... 150 bombers wouldn´t make me suspiciously, 197 do... a lot of bombers were shot down by our figthers and their morale surely is trashed now. Flak fire against the low incoming bombers was heavy, I´ve recently moved in three additional AA rgts. Against our expectations, we weren´t able to keep our port safe from unescorted bombers but I guess this is now the case. As you can see, nearly 60 4Es were shot down today, that´s quite an achievement in Nikmod.
