Oh and Andrew did you get it?

I resent to the nofrills account in case you didN't. But your email is definetely there!

MorningDew -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (6/30/2009 7:52:49 PM)

I didn't get it again? Not sure why?

Franck -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (6/30/2009 8:13:12 PM)

Can you recheck in the nofrills' accounts sent mail and verify that it is your address I put there?

I'll try sending to you from my university account maybe...

montesaurus -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (6/30/2009 9:05:08 PM)

Turkish Turn is in!

Mus -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (6/30/2009 9:54:51 PM)

How about anyone at this point not getting emails properly checks the nofrills email account and Franck puts the new turn up there?

MorningDew -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (6/30/2009 10:06:13 PM)

barbarossa2 -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (6/30/2009 11:07:23 PM)

France's turn is being sent as I enter this.

Franck -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/1/2009 12:36:41 AM)

Mus I'm already doing it (sending to nofrills) my biggest gripe with that is that people don't get auto notified when the turn is ready.

Franck -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/1/2009 12:54:58 AM)

WOW! Waiting on prussia...

That was kind of scary (so fast)!

One way around that is to ask everyone to subscribe to this thread, unless anyone is averse to having the extra emails. When the turn is ready just post in here.

What if we started a new thread called "No frills 1792 turn completion" and all players subscribed to that, then ONLY FRanck would post in it when he had merged and uploaded the turn?

That way we can still communicate in here about the game without sending tons of emails to each others boxes. And the only time we will receive an email notification is when the turn is actually merged.

Franck -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/1/2009 1:17:07 AM)

really good idea. On top of that only players with problems getting my mail can subscribe. How do you subscribe to a thread tough?

Franck -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/1/2009 2:29:11 AM)

Kingmaker, just checked your files...[8|] This time you sent the good ones [X(][:D]

Kingmaker -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/1/2009 8:32:55 AM)

HiHi

Yer, correct ones this time, do I get some "I'm a Good Guy!!!" points back? [:)]

A simple way of checking on the state of returns is just go Looksee at the hotmail account, I pop in every so often just to see; consequently, with a centralised posting spot already up I don't notify here any more, so really is there any need for new threads etc, if folk can just get into the habit of checking Hotmail?

Good call seting up the account Franck, bonus "I'm a Good Guy!!!" points to you.

All the Best
Peter

timurlain -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/1/2009 8:58:08 AM)

Hello, prussian turn in. That wasn't all that slow, but you guys beat me to it. Ok. Will do even better next time.

Franck -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/1/2009 2:00:32 PM)

LOL tim, no need to be the quickest... :)

This was find enough IMO... I think Mus would agree to. I'm playing the turn right now.

Franck -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/1/2009 3:45:51 PM)

Turn in the mail!

timurlain -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/1/2009 9:34:52 PM)

Prussian turn in. Hopefully I'll be first now, to lose some slacker, slacker points !

Franck -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/1/2009 10:44:34 PM)

LOL, I know you didn't beat Kingmaker to it... PRobably beat a bunch of other peeps :)

Franck -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/1/2009 10:46:24 PM)

So who will loose nice guy points... France or Turkey ;)

montesaurus -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/2/2009 12:31:20 AM)

Turkey claims the glory points for arriving before France!

Franck -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/2/2009 12:53:33 AM)

LOl I made a mistake anyways!

We are still waiting for russia :)

Franck -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/2/2009 8:27:54 PM)

Still no news about Russia's t4. He did resend a t3. Anyone else could contact him? Gf arive soon... Must play before she arrive...

Otherwise it's gona be: ''What!!?!?!?!?!? You haven't seen me for a week and all you want to do is play a turn of that game of yours? You like your game more than etc.''

Kingmaker -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/2/2009 8:40:26 PM)

HiHi

email sent explaining to Bill that 'Fun & Frolics' are in the offing for you and we need his T4 before ... [X(]

All the Best
Peter

barbarossa2 -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/3/2009 2:50:31 AM)

Franck...I am with you on that dude. Never touch a computer game in front of a woman on the first day of being together after you haven't seen her in a week. If you need to wait because of that I am fine with that. I know you tried.

I think pulling out TOAW after (censored) with my wife 10 years ago, put the nail in the coffin. We had the "We have to talk" chat within two months and were divorced shortly thereafter. But oh well. It was time with that one. :) I have been much happier since then.

Franck -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/3/2009 9:57:15 PM)

Thanks,

I should be able to safely play my turn tonight :)

Resending as soon as it's done. Also, don't expect turn sooner than once every 48 hours next week (I'm at her place) but it shouldn't be much longer. I also have a canoe trip on the weekend and then it's back to normal...

Franck -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/3/2009 11:30:20 PM)

Turn 5 sent...

Spanish privateer sunk (first time playing naval power... Keep privateer away from frigate is the first leson I learn!)

timurlain -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/4/2009 9:39:02 PM)

Turn 5 sent. Prussia's on the roll earning goodie points ...
