Ask whoever gets chosen to send me a mail to my normal hotmail account.

I'll send him the latest diplomatic letters I got. And diplomatic deals I made.

Mus -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/19/2009 8:15:59 AM)

Are we still going to be using the nofrills email account for this game?

Also, who is the first player up on the reserve list to replace Franck?

Kingmaker -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/19/2009 3:15:18 PM)

HiHi

Good of you to step up to the plate and2, welcome on board.

Info you will need for Merging, all our T9 files are on the Hotmail account Franck set up.

To acces this account:
Go to hotmail.com
Username: nofrills1792@hotmail.com
Password: 1792nofrills

Just in case you ain't done Merging before below is a C&P of how to go about it. Screenshots show what you need to have ready to select before, and the after showes them all highlighted, to do that you need to use the 'Ctrl', not 'Shift as is normal for sequential highlighting.

Screenshot 1 below, will have to do 2nd as seperate post.

Remember you must do the whole Merge sequence in one go from clicking on;
'Combine PBEM files' on the Main screen,
click 'Open',
Select Spain from menue
Enter password for Spain,
do your turn,
then 'End turn'

What I do then is 'Exit the game compleatly, then open up again and go check that things have moved etc. etc.

Any probs email me at powtwo@btinternet.com

All the Best
Peter

HiHi

and2, have emailed Franck asking him to send you Spains last turn file so you can drop it in your PBEM folder.

You may wish to change Spains password as other players in the game do have it, to do that right click on the map and select 'Set PBEM Policy' change password in bottom left hand corner.

All the Best
Peter

Hi Guys,
Just to let you know Barbarossa2's computer went down, and he will be back up this coming week. If we get a turn back shortly from and2 I will go ahead and complete his turn.
Regards,
Monte

and2 -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/19/2009 4:03:52 PM)

:) Dont worry and thanks for all the tips about how to combine and change password, it is indeed my first PBEM in COG:EE.

Ill try to take the turn tonight supposing things falls into place.

and2 -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/19/2009 11:16:27 PM)

Hi all

I believe I've executed the turn correctly. However if that’s not the case bear over with me.
I understand that I as the Spaniard always with have to wait taking my turn until all turns are handed in at the hotmail acc?

***

I. King Juan the XVII, look forward to intensify the diplomatic negotiations with all of my fellow European courts, although I must inform that with the unfortunate death of the glorious King Franck, his third cousin on his farther's side has today been crowned in Madrid and that a minor cabinet shuffle in underway.

Hey make sure to send the files out so everyone sees the new turn.

I see you just left the mail with the files attached in the game email account.

Anyways, Austrian Turn 10 in.

timurlain -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/20/2009 9:20:47 AM)

Prussian turn 10 done.

MorningDew -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/20/2009 1:21:25 PM)

I didn't receive turn 10. Can someone forward?

montesaurus -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/20/2009 1:33:54 PM)

HI GUys,
Unless Barbarossa2 got his computer back today I will plan on getting his turn done here in the next 12 hours. As well as mine.

Its in the nofrills1792 email address in case nobody forwarded it to you. Do you have access to that?

I only see one file attached to the french email. Please make sure you do it right so we can keep the game moving.

With the other two games on hold due to Mattos computer issues Im counting on you people for my strategy fix.

[:-]

and2 -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/21/2009 6:43:25 AM)

As far as I can see I can take the turn once I get the rep file from the french, I realise its plastered all over the email :), but I think I better get it as a whole file rather then taking the turn and then risking a future corruption of the gamefiles.

Ill strive to take the turn this evening (gmt +1) after work.

Chindits

Kingmaker -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/21/2009 6:50:00 AM)

HiHi

Good call and2; with FoF PBEM there did seem to be probs if all 4 files were not returned and used, so please do play safe, there seems to be enough 'Weirds' in the PBEM Game as it is.

All the Best
Peter

Kingmaker -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/21/2009 7:28:33 AM)

HiHi

Sheee, I see what you mean about plastered all over the email!

Hope folks don't mind but I have taken the liberty of deleting the stuff, dunno how all that stuff got there but if it happens again can I suggest it is immediately deleted, not completely sure but it may be that some of the stuff could be used as prior "Intel" by someone who had not yet done their turn, so let’s play safe and destroy it on sight.

There you go Monte, some more paranoia for you [:D]

All the Best
Peter

montesaurus -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/21/2009 12:04:36 PM)

Hi Guys,
The French and TU turns 11 are in.
Barbararossa2 advised me he will either be getting a new computer, or will go ahead and repair his old one. We'll see!

Mus -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/21/2009 10:00:57 PM)

Looks like a bunch of people are in. Who are we missing?

and2 -> RE: 1792 No frills PBEM (7/21/2009 10:06:31 PM)

Sweden and me, and the rep files from TUR/FRA
