12-13 July 1942 Burma About 20 unescorted B-17s roamed over Prome this turn facing 18 Oscars (high 70s EXP). We lost 7 Oscars and the base was heavily damaged (30+ runway and 30+ service) so looks like we will be unable to defend the airspace even near Rangoon. China We knocked back the stack which was supported the seige on Hankow. Now the Hankow stack is surrounded. We shock attacked them once two turns ago - and we will try again this turn. In Southern China - we're banging small units around. Celebes/Timor area Any momement we expect a big eruption here like happened in the CF/Q-Ball game. We're starting to get a few troops into the area to start building up. But we have very few engineers so the building will be slow. I've sure the Allies can roll through here without much noticing our presence [:D]. Production We've finally managed to start building back up the fuel stocks in the home islands after the Aleutians campaign. All production is still running flat out. We have 200+ in the pools for A6M2, Nate, Oscar and Kate. For Betty, G3N2 and Val, we have 100+. Most zero and oscar production has been off for some time. We're building some TOJO factories so when September 1942 rolls around we can start producing. By October we should be able to put some Tojo's into the field, but I'd like to build up to about 4 units before we go into combat. We will see if these planes can make a dent in the unescorted B-17s. We're running 1100 now - so combining playing the game with testing for next patch.
