ORIGINAL: sapper32 I wouldnt be able to resist the temptation to race north Larry and swing my now shortened front line from the coast to the lake, I quite agree. The problem is that the supply situation in that area is really poor and I don't wish to engage major Soviet units with a disadvantage. But if the supply situation improves, as I expect that it eventually will, then YES....that would be a great idea. quote:
ORIGINAL: sapper32 Do you envisage many Red units in that area???? I've seen the Soviet dude ( Elmer ) move units in and out of that area so I'm pretty sure there is at least one Soviet unit of unknown strength in there somewhere. quote:
ORIGINAL: sapper32 As for the southern area it could be a long way to the Luga River and Lake ilman Again, I agree. And the supply situation isn't the best it could be yet. 39 per hex is the best that can be gotten so far and 19 per hex isn't all that bad but 9 per hex isn't quite enough for the combat(s) that I envision for my units. If he has a better supply situation than I do I either have to destroy his units quickly and then go on the defensive ( which I don't expect I can do ) or just don't go into there with my units yet, which is what I've been doing. Thanks for the advice. And thanks for keeping up with this AAR. I expect you may be the only one. LOL
