As I mentioned before the tree line near the tracks had been turned off. That train will have a grim fate soon, but I am not going to tell spoilers here... Rick can confirm the fact already.  [;)]

JMass -> RE: Screenshot of the day... (10/30/2011 3:41:32 PM)

I added the winter version of the captured T-4:

With a train that length you almost need a double header.

JMass -> RE: Screenshot of the day... (10/31/2011 4:05:31 PM)

And the improved PzKpfw IV Ausf D is ready! The improved series D, E, F1, F2, G, G Late, H, J, T4 is complete now.

Tigers and Pz IV's advance on Turkeve with Infantry in support.

They've already eliminated one concentration of AT Guns, but they paid a price.

nicwb -> RE: Screenshot of the day... (11/2/2011 12:28:53 PM)

That's a really great screenshot- sort of sums up the German task of trying to take the endless Steppes

sztartur2 -> RE: Screenshot of the day... (11/2/2011 6:08:18 PM)

It is in the Hungarian Puszta not in the Russian Steppe [:)].

nicwb -> RE: Screenshot of the day... (11/3/2011 8:57:34 AM)

Apologies for my ignorance sztartur.

Its actually twice as embarassing as my father was Hungarian [X(]

sztartur2 -> RE: Screenshot of the day... (11/3/2011 8:23:02 PM)

Looking on the picture it could have also been the Steppe if you do not recognize some really big cats.

JMass -> RE: Screenshot of the day... (11/13/2011 1:27:55 AM)

The work on StuGs proceeds relatively slowly but something can be seen...

They look very good, JMass. Well worth waiting for!

Jacko -> RE: Screenshot of the day... (11/19/2011 10:11:36 AM)

Very nice, JMass! Makes a great background. Can you do some Panthers too perhaps? Summer and/or winter?

ComradeP -> RE: Screenshot of the day... (11/19/2011 12:28:22 PM)

Nice StuGs JMass.

A small favour to ask: could the redone Schuerzen, pretty please, be a bit muddy or at least not clean around the lower edge?

Some green or brown on the road wheels would also be appreciated, currently most tanks continue to look like they either came straight from the factory or at the least have been clean and not actually been outside for a while, even when you're using them mission after mission. Over time, it hurts the immersion.

heinrich55 -> RE: Screenshot of the day... (11/19/2011 10:37:54 PM)

JMass,
That Mark III has a real watercolor painting effect. It is similar to some WWII watercolors done by German artists that I've seen on-line.

Very interesting. I like the effect a lot.

The StuGs look very nice indeed. Thanks for your efforts.

Wonderful JMass, I love them!

Mad Russian -> RE: Screenshot of the day... (1/17/2012 5:14:23 PM)

T-34's go into battle during the fighting at Kursk.

There were often small patches of trees in the steppes. Here the T-34's try to take advantage of just such a small grouping.

Good Hunting.

An elite Soviet crew is a rare thing. Here is an elite T-34 looking at it up close and personal from the business end. This tank and crew are a part of the ongoing Elephant Hunt Interactive AAR.

JMass -> RE: Screenshot of the day... (3/7/2012 11:35:33 AM)

StuG IVs field test. I designed a 1944 scenario where they support a village's defence attacked by soviet armor and infantry. Here the lead tank checks the situation while they are approaching the first line.

Jacko -> RE: Screenshot of the day... (3/7/2012 6:56:32 PM)

What an excellent job, JMASS! Thank you very, very much.

Jacko -> RE: Screenshot of the day... (3/8/2012 7:02:37 PM)

jMASS, wouldn't it be possible to give the StuG III some Schürzen too? I love your StuG IV, easily one of the best vehicles of the whole game now.

JMass -> RE: Screenshot of the day... (3/8/2012 7:12:36 PM)

Jacko, I started to work on a new StuG III G (the upper structure is the same of the StuG IV) but I suspended it for now because of other priorities (for Ostfront, not other games, however!).

Jacko -> RE: Screenshot of the day... (3/8/2012 7:21:36 PM)

Pity, JMass, but the good news is that it will come sooner or later. I'm convinced you have the skills to single handedly make this game, as far as the vehicles are concerned, into one of the best looking serious wargames on the market. If I were Matrix I would very carefully put you into a box and lock you up in a safe place somewhere. [:)]
