Not really. I could crash an airliner if I was given the chance. And I'd do it for half what they paid the pilot and first officer.

Yeah, what's Double Gloucester?

Question seconded. I have no clue what this is about.

Well, the fact that the product in question was imported by a CHEESE importer might be a clue, no?

Oh, it's cheese. [sm=vomit-smiley-020.gif]

In any case it is good to see that even with aircraft that have engines hanging below fuselage the belly landing is possible and feasible! [:)]

We had Airbus A320 safely landing in water (Hudson river in New York) and now Boeing 767!!!

My father in law told me the day I got married that when I master that phrase, life will be easy going forward.

How are the Colorado folks fairing? And the Northeastern US folks a' doin?

We're planing a few inches here in Kansass but I doubt that happens...

Schanilec -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (11/2/2011 6:12:12 PM)

Hopefully the rain/snow holds off until late Sunday. Suppose to be windy (nothing new for here). Deer hunting opens noon Friday. I have two tags again this year. Thought about more but the population is still down. Just to many predators, mostly coyotes. That was never a problem years ago. Plus wolves, cougars, etc. On the plus side, elk are just outside of town.  Sighted-in the rifles Sunday. So I can't blame the tools if I miss.[;)]

Schanilec -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (11/2/2011 6:16:01 PM)

What's the news in Atchinson, KS? Have the missing been accounted for yet? It was probably a bad bearing that sparked the explosion. That is usually the case when it happens here. Most of the time it just causes a fire. And most of the time the elevator is destroyed. Good luck and prayers to everyone effected.

Is that sort of technical declaration in your pay grade, mate? I recall your tutorial videos posted several months ago. It is my distinct recollection that PILOTS are those that are capable of identifying those things on the sides of the airplane to which the engines are attached, right?

I must say that I managed to compress any marital strife into early negotiations about bathroom etiquette. I don't bother to leave the toilet seat down, because my wife doesn't bother to leave it up when she's done. With kids in the house it's much easier-blame it on their ill manners.
