The way I see it, if you have a game that is 1400 stars, 22 empires, any number of independent races (that may become empires of their own) plus the knowledge that you can design ships (and bases) better than your AI opponents, I'd just rather not see the game become that complicated. From my experience, that level of complication could seriously damage the game. Just my two blocks of Gold-Pressed Latinum worth. [&:]
