The problem is all my poor planning for this operation. I did not use my DB's and aircraft to prepare this target enough. Plus this fortress requires at least 6 BB's to absorb the punishment of the 6" and 4" guns here. I also had a false sense of secuirty given how well the other invasions went off. Now the USAAF and USN will have to support this mission much more rigorously and I suspect the KB will come calling ..
