Good Morning

Schanilec -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (2/2/2012 4:13:54 PM)

Hell of a fog this morning. Couple of hundred yards visibility. Not quite as bad as the second weekend of hunting this last season.
Jeff, I got a new Historic Rail Catalog in the mail. Good stuff. If you like to get one give 'em a call 1.800.261.5922. Free; what the hell. Might as well for Historic Aviation and Military Issue at the same time.
That is where I picked up S. E. Morison's `History of the US Navy in WWII'. About $150.00. Couldn't beat that.
Also good bathroom library reading.[;)]

Off to fill and wash. 12 Mar 1943. After getting my hat handed to me by about 4 KB force in the Indian Ocean a couple of days ago. Little Coco I. B-slapped the KB, a few Spitfires and a couple of P-39's knocked down 20 IJN planes (Jill's and Judy's) including a couple of Zekes. for the loss of two spitfires.[:)] Then last night I got my Battle of the Bismarck Sea off Buna. Not as larrge as the original battle, but good enough.[:)] Did two turns last night. Hope I do a couple again. But one is good enough.
Night all.[:)]

I now know the size of the largest ball of chewed gum in the world. I wonder what useful information was scooped out of my brain for this...[sm=00000117.gif]

bradfordkay -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (2/3/2012 1:30:59 AM)

I don't think that new information replaces older information in our brains, it just shoves that file deeper into the archives so as to make it more difficult to locate! [:(]

jeffk3510 -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (2/3/2012 4:36:46 AM)

Agreed

jeffk3510 -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (2/3/2012 2:33:47 PM)

Wahoo 2 inches of rain and counting....hello bumper wheat crop!

USSAmerica -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (2/3/2012 2:44:03 PM)

Going on a short field trip with work to an Ag show, here in town. [:)]

Our clients are almost all in the agriculture industry, so it's a familiarization exercise for most of the employees at our company who have never been exposed to farming, etc.

nashvillen -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (2/3/2012 2:51:57 PM)

Farming - I remember "going on harvest" during high school, that and hauling hay in College to pay for school. It is not the life for me, but I have some fond memories of that time. Not to mention working a hog farm in during the school year in high school, stinky work, but great food by the farmers mom!

Any animal agriculture in the mix there, hoss, or is it all crop stuff?

Looks like another winter storm in your neighborhood.
Great news. Thanks for taking another one for the team.[sm=00000436.gif] Haven't had a single storm this year. More good news; the ground hog saw his shadow. Only six more weeks of winter.[8D]
