The Commonwealth Games mostly for the last week or so. Great stuff - and we may (whisper it) finish above the Aussies in the medal table for the first time in a billion years).....[sm=innocent0001.gif]

Saving Mr Banks - a really good film, with a fine cast.

Also just seen Hunger Games - Catching Fire. Very watchable.

I am watching The Strain. For some strange reason I am enjoying it despite the plot holes in the TV series as I have read the novels and loved them to pieces. It is like I am enjoying the same story with different outcomes or like reading/watching 2 different versions of the same story. Especially the actor playing that vicious Nazi Vampire Eichorst is simply amazing and the Quinlan dhampir is just like I had envisioned him form the novels.

Flicking channels and came across the Hot Dog eating championships [X(] That's got to be bloody dangerous.

Bizarre....

By the way, the record - with bun - is 68 in ten minutes!

Channel 5 are showing a new series WWII in colour. Very well done and the best news is I've got my elder little cruiser interested.

Watching on Netflix:

Copper http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2006374/

Boss with Kelsey Grammer http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1833285/?ref_=nm_flmg_prd_3

Sherlock

All three are great.

I sure would like to be able to watch Copper. But Netflix here does not have it. So then I thought that I take a look at Boss that I know they had but it has been removed from Netflix. So I cancelled my membership. Maybe I get back later on but at the moment I am to annoyed with the lack of good TV-series they have. [:@]

Orm -> RE: What program/film/documentary are you watching now? (9/30/2014 12:59:34 PM)

With no TV series I felt like watching I settled for a WWII movie. Red Tails. I heard some bad stuff about it but I thought it can't be all that bad. Unfortunately it has been worse so far. I didn't manage to watch it all at once. This is a movie that might actually make Pearl Harbour look better. [sm=00000003.gif]

Could Red Tails be the worst WWII movie ever produced by Hollywood? [X(] [sm=00000055.gif]

At the moment I am not sure I will watch the rest of the movie. [:(]

The channel on Youtube I'm addicted to, well sort of, is Vice. A great newschannel for everything newsworthy. They had this doc on ISIS from inside, man that was chilling to say the least, bad very bad.

I have to say the latest series of Dr Who is possibly the best of the lot. Great stories every week so far. All the Doctors since the series came back, starting with the brilliant Christopher Eccleston have been top drawer, and Peter Capaldi is no exception. And of course the presence of this young lady doesn't hurt either. She really showed in this latest episode that she can act too.
