(not a response to the Lt but to the Cap'n: If you were passing through NM on your way back to LA, you could find yourself still in NM vice in CA if you made an incorrect left turn at Albequerque esp if you kept repeating the mistake, ala "this place seems vaguely familiar".)

Mate, my wife unit lived in Albuquerque most of her life. Their legislature took a 'turn to the left' a lonnng time ago. Unfortunately, they're still in New Mexico.
