okeefe -> Sevastapol question / how sea supply works (11/7/2012 6:05:35 AM)

If you block sevastapol with your submarine and ships during the first round, have you cut the supply? What are the blue circles with numbers in it that you see on the next round. I did a recon and I am not spotting and transports.. and from what i can tell I don't see an anchor so am I to understand this does not have a port?

The numbers in the Blue circles are how many supply points do destroyed in that particular hex. If you add them all up you can see how much supply you stopped from coming in. I'm not sure how you tell how much got through.

It seems Sevastapol is doomed either way, I tried to play it from the russian side with no success. Best thing is to try and evacuate.

^ I agree. The commander of the HQ is pretty good, has the Fortification card. Get him someplace critical and get to digging!

All cities (think gold, blue and red dots on the map) along a coastline function as ports; however, only towns with an anchor symbol function as ports. Towns without an anchor symbol cannot function as a link in the supply chain.
